The SEM will be gutted. That was a very winnable game.
The penalty was a joke. A great defensive play (after what should have a free out for charging) and the ball bounces back and hits the defenders hand on the ground.
Still have more than enough chances to win. Must have had 15 or so more chances of scores but the radar was off.
Edit: having watched the slow motion replay the defender swipes at the ball while it's dropping. Not convinced he didn't hit it while it was in the air and didn't touch it on the ground at all but so hard to be sure so perhaps he did.

They will be absolutely devastated- kicked the game away in the 2nd half with all the hard work done - wides, balls dropping short - out scored the opposition 0-07 to 0-01 to the 55th minute, continued their dominance but failed to convert for scores. |

St. Pats Castleisland have qualified for the Corn Eamonn O'Sullivan Cup. All Ireland C football final. They beat Dunmore CS by 3-17 to 4-13 thanks to a goal in the dying seconds by John O'Connor. They had trailed by 4-8 to O-9 after 40 minutes but took it to extra time. Great game to watch

Great win by St Pats. The Meath school were hot favourites. They had a good few County U20's and put up big scores in earlier matches.
