Can somebody familiar with the divisional boards and the related competitions explain how its constituted and works.
Are clubs permanently in a particular board - what is the relationship between divisional sides and these boards.
North Kerry appears to be made up of two divisional teams?
Tralee has a board that includes teams that play in the St Brendans divisional side but also the St Kierans divisional side.
West Kerry appears reasonably contained and stable but South Kerry and East Kerry appear to be moveable feasts.
Can someone make sense of it to the uninformed.

North Kerry Championship has clubs in Feale Rangers, Shannon Rangers and St. Kierans, its the one division that is all over the place.

There was a lot of movement before.
Mid Kerry afaik broke away from East Kerry at some point. That's how you have clubs from both right next to each other.
At one time St. Brendans and even Tralee clubs were part of West Kerry.
I'm not sure how St. Kierans came about. It's quite a confusing one. Castleisland play in North Kerry but there's clubs on all sides of them playing elsewhere.

Most of the NK clubs have a certain social and geographical closeness but Castleisland is miles away. There's no real relationship there at all. I don't think they've always played in NK either.

Knocknagoshal and Brosna are even further is one is using Listowel as a centre point.
