From what I’ve seen so far: Promising players from county league 2022 1 Darragh Crosby 2 Josh Coffey 3 Liam Evans 4 Jake Foley 5 Tony Og Duffy 6 Darragh O Connor 7 Eddie Healy 8 Jack Clifford 9 Fionn Murphy 10 John Burke 11 Donagh Shine 12 Odhran Feris 13 Keith Moriarty 14 Ian O’ Sullivan 15 Paddy Lane 16 Micheal Tansley 17 Alex Hennigan 18 Niall O’ Brian 19 Evan Boyle 20 Maidhci Lynch 21 Tomas Ash 22 Jer Brosnan 23 David Mulvihill 24 Darragh Clifford Respond your opinions please Darragh Crosby has been playing at wing back and wing forward for GGC, Jamie Casey is their keeper so far in the county minor league. Niall O'Brien has been playing well for Laune Rangers, but rather surprisingly, he hasn't been selected for the Kerry South under 16 panel for 2022.

Darragh Crosby was a solid keeper with the Mid-Kerry minor team last year and help them in reaching the final. Yes surprisingly he has not been selected but if he keeps his solid performances up, no doubt he will be called in.

Word in south Kerry is jack clifford is injured however had been playing centre forward and strange as his best position is midfield .hennigan Crokes outstanding at centre forward v keel listry in county league kicked 7 pts from play according to Kerry man report and also was excellent for sem in corn ui mhuiri final so v cork he will surely start at 11..murphy rathmore should start midfield with Clifford with ferris ardfert grandson of Martin and O sullivan dromid on wings and dillion o sullivan foilmore and lane inside very leaky at the back v Kildare and Galway with Browne stacks and o connor the only definite starters a lot of competition there.so 3 south kerrymen on this team highly exciting forward line with the 6 named above with pace power and skill could finally land Costello and co his holy grail all Ireland only fear if management go too defensive and are not brave enough to go for it up front they could again be pipped at the post and again fail to land that elusive all Ireland

I was at the Crokes v Keel/Listry minor match. I wouldn't have said that Hennigan was outstanding.

Can we try and be a bit more constructive (and less destructive) when passing comment on youngsters.

Jack Clifford seems to be plagued with injuries - which is a worry for this talented footballer - have seen Henigan enough times to be comfortable with him in the starting 6 forwards - 11 or 15 and roaming. Watched the Stacks / Keel Listry league semi final. - Stacks well drilled - CB Brown v strong and Cathal Donoghue best forward on display by a mile - v disappointed with the stacks forwards - they seem to have this issue in all grades - missing that star forward

And that cathal o donoghue was outstanding and has both legs. Think he was called into minors recently

Was at the kenmare stacks county league division one final a great game to watch stacks where well in control in the first 15 minutes with Full forward Damien Hogan doing the scoring with 4 points with 3 of them from play kenmare moved fast and brought on a player to match his size and was well marked out of it for the remainder Colm Browne was good in the first half aswell as Daniel Kirby , Darren allman was very influential with his free taking and number 15 for kenmare not sure of a name kicked 1 or 2 nice points kenmare came out a different team in the second half with kerry minor centre back darragh o connor lording it over Browne in the second half when it mattered Eoghan mccarthy stuck a goal into the roof of the net after a inspiring solo run from O Connor and Followed up with points from O Connor, And Mccarthy Paddy Lane who has had a great season with club and school was very well marked , with the help of a sweeper some great football on show a defensive setup by kenmare that broke up the field in numbers was very impressive it is also promising to see Jack Murphy who was one of the up and coming stars for stacks underage return to action after a long time out.

Good win by Kenmare - Stack forwards very poor - and when the pressure came on in the 2nd half - couldn’t win their own ball - better team on the night won

Good win for kenmare although main player throughout the whole league campaign Darren almann was marked out of in my opinion by The full back Luke Casey. He was still very accurate with his free taking.Darragh o Connor was outstanding too a very strong player around the middle.Stacks forwards poor second half with the pressure on them

Kerry north have some serious players that are worth a chance at this years minors here’s a list below of the players worth a go paddy lane Evan Boyle and James hoare all ready inside
Backs David mhulivil (tarbert) Seanog brosnan (mitchels) Dan Kirby (stacks)
Midfield Araon Kennelly (Listowel)
Forwards Darragh O Keffe (Moyvanne)
Seanog and David are levels ahead of other backs under 16 in Kerry not alone north they are certs for 2023 minor team. Both are as good as what’s inside the panel, Seanog had load of talk around getting a call in while playing for his school CBS and Vital player for Tralees team that got to the u/15 district final, he never got a go fully deserved one. David was called in and got training and apparently got injured and they cleared him fairly unfair in my opinion
Kennelly is a beast straight out proved it with Kerry north powering over majority of players darragh o keefe ran the show agaist Laois his kicking and work rate is insane he was vital for n/Kerry throughout the district championship last year u/15 Dan Kirby won a frewn cup at centre back and one of the main men on stacks minors that lost to Kenmare got called in for a “in house training game” should be in there full time

I'm afraid the Emmetts man for me isn't consistant enough and I'd have young Boyle ahead of him in twelve months.

An unfortunate state of affairs for strand road at the moment ! We’ve had to join up with St pats Blennerville for the remainder of the year due to lack of players it’s a pity to see how much we are struggling underage , with some good promising players to come through Jake Foley Tomas Kennedy Jake Hoare Sean Collins but after them it looks a bit dark pity it is to see

Down here in South Kerry we have been used to underage amalgamations for years but that is down to rural depopulation but disappointing it is hitting urban centres like Tralee Hopefully it is just a short cycle for a fine club like Rahillys and in the meantime they have to like south Kerry clubs down here embrace the arrangement and hopefully bring players through to the senior team

Kennelly is definitely good enough to be in with the minors also his work rate speed and strength make him a cert to be on the minors next year .

I would disagree with the statement about Kennelly being a beast, just doesn’t have the work rate for me but very athletic player, I would definitely agree with darragh o keefe being a cert. I also think the full forward for Kerry north Aaron carey should have a great chance next year very tidy player
