Anyone know how many of the sem boys are to come back in to the squad? According to the team announcement where they had the extended panel listed, only William Shine and Dara O’Callaghan.

I presume Eoghan O’Sullivan is injured. Does anyone know if he’ll be back for championship or how long he’s out for? I know that Joe Linehan is ruled out for the campaign with injury. Oisin Maunsell is on the way back from his injury troubles, he was on the bench yesterday.

As a south Kerryman pleased for Declan O Sullivan as I think he is potentially the next Kerry senior manager in waiting and this age grade is an excellent apprenticeship and learning curve for him and hopefully he can now build on this for his Munster and all Ireland campaigns.only worry is the over reliance on Dylan Geaney for scores ie what happens if he is double teamed or has an off day but hopefully with county league kicking off Declan can spread the net and add a few free scoring forwards to his squad but overall moving in the right direction hopefully

I totally agree they need more than Dylan Geaney scoring I think Cian McMahon should be brought in after the Sem are finished Excellent finisher crafty corner forward He would help with the scoring

He will be o.k. for the championship. Fine player who can play anywhere - will add to that team.

I heard they are not for teams playing tomorrow. Supposed to have some challenge match Friday. Don't know about teams playing Sat or Sun.
Ridiculous if not available.

I expect Shine to start in the opposite corner to Dylan Geaney and they’ll be the team’s main scorers with the other inside forward maybe playing more of a ball winning/link role. Dara O’Callaghan is in the mix for a corner back position.

Thanks lads, they'll add to the team, especially Shine, he's so comfortable on the ball and is a lovely kicker.

Nice representation from Tralee clubs.
Anyone have a list of panel and extended panel.
Stacks and Na Gaeil have few.

Definitely a strong Tralee presence with 8 out of a panel of 29. Only 1 player from North Kerry and 1 from South Kerry though. www.kerrygaa.ie/team-announcement-kerry-u20-vs-dublin-john-kerins-cup/

The u 20 s are out the 18 th April in a semi final.Really looking forward to how Declan and co get on this year .They did well winning the John Kerins tournament and hopefully they can take this form into the championship and unlike last year if they do overcome their semi final opponents they have a game played before a likely tilt with cork in the Munster final .. huge year for Declan and his managerial career going forward we in south Kerry wish him and his squad all the best

I think Nagle is better suited to the centre and would be more beneficial at full back.

I wonder were Tipp bad or were Clare just really good. Paddy Christie is the Tipp manager as far as I know, not sure who's over the Clare U20s.

They’re all still playing with their clubs. Some haven’t made the u20 panel but they’re all still playing. It is surprising though that 7 of the 2019 minor team that started in the defeat to Galway aren’t even panellists on this u20 panel 3 years later.

I see 10 names on that team sheet that I didn't see on the 2019 minor list - but maybe they were on the panel/extended panel in 2019 - a good exercise would be to name all of the players that are gone from the panel 3 years on and see where they are - find it hard to believe none of them have given it up ..

Most of them would have been minors in 2020. That’s always the case with an u20 or u21 team, it’s a mix of the best players on the age and those who are underage the following year. Evan Looney, Ruairi Murphy and Tom Doyle alright weren’t involved with any minor team.
