I assume most people are now on their last day or two of work or maybe lucky enough to be off on their holidays already. Anyway, its certainly not going to be a normal Christmas. They'll be no going into Parkers for a porter or two after Christmas Eve mass in the parish. No meeting up with everyone on Stephens night around Tralee and bumping into cousins and old classmates. Even the annual Kilflynn Christmas Quizz will probably not go ahead
But for all that, isn't it still great (for those of us who are so lucky) to be able to get together as friends and families at this time of year.
I hope everyone on here gets to enjoy the next few days, so happy Christmas to one and all and thanks for giving us refugee's from another forum a new home.
I really enjoyed all the discussions and debates. I'm not sure if posters on here realise how much some of us appreciate their knowledge and insights about the county and club scenes, esp for those of us who don't live at home and can't be as tuned into it as we would like.
Here's to better days in 2022 and Sam to be our collective Christmas present next December
An Riocht Abu!

Many happy returns Hermit, but at least we have the 'traditional" St. Stephens day NK final - a wee form of normality in an obscure year.
As for the next chapter, the McGrath and National League won't be long rolling up so for the gaa buff, the year commences with a bang of new players, formations and hopefully form.
Have to seriously concur with Hermit regarding the welcome received by us refugees from Hoganstand, admittedly I was anxious on how we would be received but credit where's it's due, both publicly and via private messages the welcome was with open arms. I just hope our opinionated slant on thr topic isn't coming accoss as overbearing.
Anyway Happy Xmas comrades and here's to hopefully an enjoyable and exciting 2022.

Once ye all scrambled onto the rocks from the good ship HS and made it safely onto the dry land here, ye were grand. You are all sound contributors.
As for 2021, no one would have predicted Tyrone, Offaly and Meath winning senior, u20 and minor not to mention the Meath ladies. A bit shout out to Mayo too who managed to beat Dublin.
In Kerry we just found yet another way to lose this year but i am looking forward to 2022 already.
Limerick look capable of doing 5 in a row as too many of the others are in transition. Maybe thats why Henry went west....Galway may be the best bet to stop them.
Anyway, happy Christmas all.

It’s always worthwhile to have new members. They bring a freshness to the forum and clearly, they are well up to speed with the club scene etc. Unfortunately, for some reason, it looks like we have also lost a few of the regular contributors, which saddens me.
Happy Christmas everyone, and best of luck for the year ahead.

The Forum is a better place for your joining horse and you have opened a few new avenues. Seasons greetings to one and all from Donegal!

Merry Christmas to everyone who contributes to this great forum. In these strange times the more opportunities for people to interact with others, all be it in on online setting, the better for everyone’s health. Already looking forward to 2022 - at least 5 strong candidates capable of winning SAM with Kerry one of those. Some great championship days ahead. Enjoy the break and hopefully the North Kerry championship on Stephen’s day serves up a cracker.

Merry Christmas everyone. Hope everyone got on well this year. Personally, 2021 was mixed, with a bad first half to the year (my industry was shut down), but a grand second half to the year (albeit with no Sam as result). Got the driving test passed (after a 16 month wait) and got to begin my last year of college which has taken up a lot of my time these past few months (explains my lack of posting).
Here's to a brighter 2022. Hopefully Jack and co. will bring home Sam, and I can finally regain independence and follow the teams journey. I'll have the mode of transport to do so aswell.
