I don't know how many people on here following the Kerry Franchise Facebook and Instagram page but it has some very interesting stuff on it. One being the following program from the 1997 All-Ireland Vocational Schools final. Some very interesting and well know names on both team.
Tom Sullivan and Paul Galvin being the two best know but there's a few others who i had forgot about.
Ronan O Connor from Ballyduff was a very good player in both codes from what i remember. He then disappeared only to then reaper out of nowhere during the league in 2009. I'm not sure if he played with Ballyduff when they won the North Kerry championships in 2005-06 or if he played when they won the hurling in 06. I'm pretty such he did play with the Kerry huliners at some point and i also have it in my head he played football with Limerick.
Bernard O Connor from St. Marys was another great player from that time. I'm not sure but did he won an Under 21 All-Ireland the following year? Been in Boston a while now.
Liam Murphy another great player who was just unlucky he came along at the time he did. I have an image in my head of him missing a free late on in the Vocational Schools final in 1996 when Kerry lost. Don Murphy also another great player for a long time.
Some very well know lads on the Tyrone team as well. But from what i rememberr Vocational Schools football was very big in Tyrone right up until the end of it and mot Tyrone minor teams where made up of lads from the Vocational Schools.
