Must say I agree nk1, it looks like Kerry and Donegal to me too. Watched the Dublin u21 match too - some good players (11, 12, 14 for example) and a playing style not unlike their senior counterparts. I think Donegal should come out of Ulster and if they do, i think they will take them. However, as Jack O'Connor pointed out on TG4 Seo Spoirt last nite, 5 or 6 u21s have been playing for Donegal seniors throughout the league so there is a risk they may be overplayed and lack freshness. Time will tell of course.

Galway have a few strapping lads down the centre and they will pose a serious challenge to a Kerry side that is unlikely to repeat the Munster final performance.
Great score taking in this game from distance too from both sides .........but i didnt see the whole game

The pressure put on the Cork keeper/defenders from kickouts was frightening. The workrate and the intensity from every time the Cork keeper put the ball down. Even the noise that they were creating the communicating was unreal. They were constantly roaring the keepers first name, Ross. This along with the lack of options and workrate of the Kerry forwards put Cork under tremendous pressure from the word go.
I still think that if Donegal come out of Ulster that they will beat Dublin and that they are the team to beat in this. They have a very strong and experienced side.

Derry 0-21 Armagh 1-15
THEY WERE PEGGED back in normal time but Derry got the job done against Armagh in extra-time in tonight’s semi-final clash in Celtic Park to seal a first EirGrid Ulster U21 final place in nine years.
Derry finished strongly in extra-time to run out victors by three points with Glen’s Danny Tallon and Slaughtneil’s Shane McGuigan hitting a combined total of 0-14 for the Oak Leaf County. They’ll now face Donegal in Monday night’s final where they will attempt to land the county’s first provincial title at this level since 1997. A brilliant injury-time free from Tallon edged Derry ahead 0-14 to 1-10 at the end of normal time but Armagh centre-forward Oisin O’Neill rescued them with a late equaliser to send the game into extra-time. It was O’Neill who struck the only goal of the game, the St Mary’s Sigerson Cup winner hitting the net in the first half to send Armagh into a 1-6 to 0-8 interval lead. Armagh's Jason Duffy with Michael McEvoy and Ben McKinless of Derry Armagh's Jason Duffy tries to charge past the Derry rearguard.
Derry recovered in the second half to stay in touch in a tightly contested match. Peter Hagan, Tallon and McGuigan helped Derry go ahead 0-17 to 1-12 at the midway mark of extra-time. But a brace of points from Thomas O’Kane brought Armagh back into it as they trailed Derry 0-18 to 1-14 by the 75th minute. However Derry finished strongly with Tallon, Hagan and Eamonn McGill all grabbing points. Armagh's Oisin O'Neill scores a goal Oisin O'Neill hits the net for Armagh

Donegal 3-17 Cavan 0-13
DONEGAL ISSUED A statement of intent tonight in the EirGrid Ulster U21 football championship as they stormed to a 13-point victory over Cavan in tonight’s semi-final at Brewster Park in Enniskillen.
After the match was originally postponed last week due to bad weather conditions, Donegal made no mistake to book a place in next Monday’s provincial final and they will be eyeing up a place in Saturday week’s All-Ireland semi-final against Dublin.
Second-half goals from Cian Mulligan, Michael Carroll and Caolan McGonagle sealed victory for Declan Bonner’s side, who had been in front 0-13 to 0-6 at the interval.
Donegal’s shooting was excellent with freetakers Lorcan Connor and Michael Langan hitting 0-6 and 0-3 respectively, while there was a tally of 0-4 for Stephen McBrearty, the brother of senior forward Patrick.
Donegal were dominant in the early exchanges as they went in front 0-9 to 0-3 at the close of the first quarter. They stretched that lead to 0-13 to 0-4 by the 26th minute when Lorcan Connor raised a white flag but Cavan finished the half with scores from Bryan Magee and their top scorer Caoimhin Reilly.
But Mulligan struck for Donegal’s first goal straight after half-time and then a 44th minute goal from Carroll killed off the Cavan challenge.
McGonigle notched the third goal in the 58th minute to round off an excellent night’s work from Donegal.

Ennis big pitch will suit us rather than limericks tight pitch. ennis is full size 13050sqm whereas limerick is 11234sqm. its an extra half hour drive but ennis is a great town.

Sligo scored 2-13 in normal time against Galway. Just based on the those figures you would have to really fancy us to beat Galway if they are conceding that kind of a score. You would imagine they won't get a whole pile of scores from our mean back line.

You would imagine they won't get a whole pile of scores from our mean back line. Was talking to a Sligoman who was at that game and he said Galway weren't anything too special; he said it was by no means a vintage Sligo crop and he thought the Galway defence wasn't the most secure. He reckoned the Kerry forwards could get a lot of joy against them.

Donegal 3-17 Derry 0-13
Donegal have been a very impressive side in the Ulster Championship and have given Derry a real hosing in the Ulster final. They hammered Cavan out the gate too in the previous round and look a serious outfit. Little wonder a few of them having been breaking into senior set up. They've unbelievable pace and some lovely footballers and they'll take some stopping. I definitely fancy Donegal to take Dublin and maker the final.

It looks like a kerry v Donegal final which is a repeat of the minor final in 2014. I can't see Dublin or Galway coming through the semis. It would make a great final as I don't think there's much between the sides.
