Well done to the Juniors - first time Kerry have done a double in this grade. Successive titles are rare at Junior with only Cork (1989&1990) and London (1969/70/71) having won sucessive titles in the competition which has been running since 1912 (not played in 11 years). Kerry and Cork lead the role of honour with 17 titles each followed by London and Dublin with six each. It's a funny old grade. Dublin have the third most titles yet haven’t fielded a team in years. Also anyone know what the story is with there being no Ulster championship? Dublin last won this competition in 2008. Ulster championship has not been played since 1986 (stopped really in 1972 but revived briefly in 1983) - Cavan won the AI in 2014

Kerry won the junior in 1954 with a team that contained among others Tom Spillane and John "Walla" O'Connor- their grandsons were the midfield pairing on Sat last!

Jason Foley Andrew Barry and Brian O'Seanachain for sure are three I think will. Adrian Spillane is a guy they could look at in the League next year maybe. Rob Wharton too maybe in the future. Fully agree with the above. Another brilliant display by Andrew Barry. He scored a great point to settle Kerry nerves after the Mayo comeback. 2 great points (frees 0ff the ground) by Paul O'Donoghue, 1 of which was at least from 60 yards. Some fine fielding by the midfielders, Spillane and O'Connor.
