I was watching the Stacks-Desmonds game on thursday night, stacks look pretty strong and have some very handy forwards, also noticed they were missing two kerry minors and their fullforward graham o connell, i reckon it will be a stacks and crokes final???

I would agree with you about crokes getting there, they have a very strong line-up with many of their team senior championship starters, they were unfortunate not to get a serious go in the u21 county championship(i heard they couldnt field a team???), player like looney smiler and luke quinn there make them a serious force. And if they get their kerry minors buckley and doolan back, they could be very hard to beat As for stacks, i havent seen them yet, they're a very light team from what i hear, besides stacks theres plenty more teams with a lot of potential in this competition such as spa, gneevguilla, gaeltacht, dingle and laune rangers so we'll have to wait and see.
Can anyone confirm which teams won on thursday night?

I think kierans won 1-14 to 0-11, good result there against a much fancied east kerry team. Next round of fixtures for the club championship Laune Rangers v Dr Crokes Fossa/Listry v Austin Stacks Listowel v Gaeltacht Beaufort v Dingle

Hard to see Listowel being beaten in this...they have the same team that won the NK last year....about 7 of the starting senior team

Hard to see Listowel being beaten in this...they have the same team that won the NK last year....about 7 of the starting senior team Maybe but Crokes would have about 7 or 8 or their senior team playing as well and they would all have Munster medals from last year. A lot will depend on when this is going to be played it could run into Christmas yet!

if it runs to christmas anything can happen, players will lose interest and might not be playin so much

Surprised this thread has been abandoned! Well the final should be in the next few weeks with Crokes beating Beaufort comprehensively 2-12 to 0-3 and Fossa/Listry beating Dingle by a point! Listowel went out to Beaufort in what I thought was a big shock considering the amount of senior players Listowel had!
Crokes were very impressive in the second half but it took them awhile to get going in what was a very good team performance and I expect that they should win it however Fossa/Listry have a few handy players Jimmy Falvey,Fintan Coffey,Kenneth Clifford,Shane Malone and Jimmy Leary! While the Crokes have excellent players in Mike Moloney,Luke Quinn,Johnny Buckley,Brian Looney,Shane Doolan and of course Kieran Leary!
Verdict ; Crokes by 4 or 5

did all clubs enter this competition? it would be a good achievement for fossa/listy to win this. crokes would have to be favourites.

Most teams entered alright. Probably should be made into a league system for next year.Something like 8groups of 4teams with2progressing. Compared to Limerick,Dublin, even Tipperary we are neglecting this age group. Most u21 teams in Kerry played 2games this year! Crokes should def win the final. Who beat Strand Road and the Gaeltacht?

strand rd and gaeltacht didnt have great teams this year, crokes knocked out strand rd and listowel beat gaeltacht i think. The quarter final teams were Crokes, listowel, fossa/listry, beaufort, stacks, dingle, laune rangers, and gaeltacht
