Joe O Muircheartaigh and TJ Flynn. I got it today and my first impressions are very good, lovely pictures and a nice spread of players but too short on the info. But given the size of the book and the fact that there are 100 players featured it's a great read. For instance did you know that Donaghy was pointing to his grandmother when he scored his goal in the 2006 final or that Dara took Sam to his sick uncle at 7 in the morning after the 2004 final?

TJ Flynn of Spa. he used to write for this forum's favourite rag, the Tribune. I might be wrong but didn't TJ write that 100 reasons why Kerry football is great piece? www.terracetalkireland.com/articles/100reasons.htm I've been waiting on this book for quite a while now seeing as I first heard of it over a year ago. What's it retailing at?

I was positive someone would buy me the Tom Humphies book about Kerry V Dublin last year, but nobody did. I am going to just buy this myself and leave the socks and hankies to others

Ask not what others can buy for you, but what you can buy for others!

Hi. I saw this book Princes Pigskin in a shop back west, seems to include a lot of players from old and new. I just wanted to know if it was worth getting this or Micko's book. Has anybody read both? THis one Pigskin seems like a decent book alright but I haven't looked at Mickos. Lot to choose from now.

Sound man. I might check both of them out. Is it about the top 100 players in the county. I only glanced at it.

it seems to have picked a sample of kerry players over a hundred year period and did a few pages on them,a lot of the big names of kerry football are covered.
some of it is very interesting about their time in history and covers this also, well worth a read.
