Seeing as how the admin dont like too many hurling threads ill put both the minor and under 21s together.
So the minors will be playing in the Leinster MHL this year. They will be in a group with Wicklow, Offaly and Meath. All 3 games will be played away from home. Playing Wicklow first on Saturday 7 Marchm Meath on the 14th and Offaly on the 21th. The winners of this group will get a bye into the final. This will be a good test playing teams at a good level. While i feel in the long run Kerry should be playing in Munster this is at least a step in the right way

What would be of far more use to Kerry's minors would be to take the 40 best players to Kilkenny for 3 or 4 weekends playing on the Saturday and the Sunday against Kilkenny's top clubs with coaching clinics after the matches. The connections are there to make this feasible; Kilkenny team doctor Tadhg Crowley is from Tralee, Christy Walsh lives in Kilkenny and Willie O'Dwyer has played for Kerry. Surely with such resources at our disposal we could engineer an exchange with Kilkenny, hurling skills for football skills!
