Rankings; Currow;(5) Strengths - Seamus Scanlon. Surely they must be fit with the length of their pitch!(2nd longest in kerry??) How do yo know that, i find it hard to believe to be honest. Wat is the longest? Fitzgerald Stadium for one is longer ya, I Considered Fitzgerald the longest. To me Currow seems reckless long, if ballybunnion is the longest, Currow is still the 3rd or 4th longest. Dont think I was underestimating Currow, result at weekend shows! Still think Michaels/Foilmore will take some stopping.

Would fancy Finuge chances but with Eamonn Fitzmaurice, Maurice and Pat Corridan and Enda Galvin all involved with the Feale Rangers team and Lixnaw Hurling, it would be a miracle for all of these to stay injury free

Finuge have to be the forerunners. Lerrig a pleasure to play on-savage surface. On the other hand, what a disgrace Churchills pitch is. With the price of land in that area, a possible relocation?!

Finuge to win that handy, Listowel can't play football, sure they might drag many a team downto their level with physical and often very physical behaviour but Fingue IMO are by far the better team

Emmets owned the ball but could not put the game away until the last 10 minutes. Felt (as did many others watching it with me) that 2 of Finuges points came from very soft frees. Paul Galvin did not play cos of sickness (flu) and he was a massiv eloss for finuge. but from the look of the game (and given recent big matches between the clubs) emmets were so much superior they may have won anyway given that Guiney would have neutralised galvin somewhat. Emmets Annascaul next sunday as a double header before the county semi final replay....should be a cracker

Went to the wrong game Emmets v Finuge in Moyvane very poor standard Paid 10 euros, no programmes left, no loudspeaker system, minute silence but no announcement to tell us who for. Not good enough for a county semi final. I left before finish and went to Tralee for Junior final - a great game, very high standard.Felt sorry for Castle, maybe they deserved a draw but fair dues to Keel, hopefully will go all the way to Croker.

Agreed Ballymagash the standard wasn't great but a win is a win and we're not complaining. Of course we will have to improve if we are to defeat Annascaul and we will improve. I do hate all that handpassing. I also paid 10 euros and also got no programme. The county board ensured the gate collectors were there but they couldn't organise a loudspeaker. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. The minutes silence for for Mrs Dennehy, Rest Her Soul, the wife of the North Kerry Board chairman

As usual spot on reporting from radio kerry.. as mentioned before total bias in the replayed feale rangers match as well. Lucky we don't take any blind bit of notice of them.

twelve of the Finuge lads were involved with Lixnaw last week ............ has to be factored in. Hurling was the priority in that part of the world and will be till they play Tulla in November. Then they will switch to the North Kerry championship in earnest. 5 of the Lixnaw players are on the Feale Rangers side.
Credit where credit is due for keeping both codes going

Winning the hurling last week possibly would have taken finuges mind off the ball somewhat

Finuge missing Paul Galvin and with Enda Galvin going off injured so early left Finuge with very little scoring options.
Listowel/Annascaul has the potential to be a very good game, both big strong teams with a few good nippy forwards on each side..... the fact Anascaul havnt played for such a long time might well count against them though.

I thought Annascaul played Dingle in the West Kerry Champinship last Saturday. If so does anybody know the result?
