Anyone hear they mystery caller on live line monday. She was on about her son who plays for one of the teams left in the championship and how martin mchugh always gives out about him in the star. She kept her identity a secret as the son wouldnt be too pleased but went on a rant about mchugh always gives out about her son. Any one hear it. I wonder could the player in question have been from kerry?

It would be easy enough to know the difference between a Cork, Kerry and Dublin accent. If all else fails, a quick trip to the archives would figure out who she is....

Martin McHugh is an absolute idiot of the highest order. How he is still a pundit I'll never know!

Ah with all the talk of handbags this week, who better to stand up for an intercounty player than dear old Mammy.

Consider it this way......she was most likely a woman on from "Clontaarfffffffffffffffffffffff", which if I'm not mistaken is only a stones throw from Raheny, which means it has to be Whelo's mum!!

It has to be Whelo. He used to get more stick from his own fans than anyone else.

McHugh loves him though, he even put him in ahead of Darragh O Se in his team of the year!
