Cute Kerry Hoors,(CKH).
Conor mckeon has an article in the hearld this evening on the above topic, its an enjoyable read if anyone could post it up.
He recons CKR's are a bit like bats, apparently bats tend to breed in the autumn, thus quadrupling their numbers around this time of year, just when you thought you hadnt seen one for a while. Were also told they mate during the winter-presumably thats at all-ireland winning parties.
he said they appear charming and friendly these CKH's but in reality are cunning and devious and lure you with a bit of southern charm(where an inche is a mile and and a rose is a beautiful girl, blah, blah, blah)and then they pounce, smirking out of the corner of their mouths are you survey the ruins of another season.
its not their fault though as decades of success have seen them evole into a ultra confident if not slightly condecending group of people. But they handle it well.Far from screaming from the roof tops about their achievements, they sit back and smile to themselves.
thats the jist,if someone could post it up,cheers.

A new designer label, methinks. A nice, classy T-shirt with a tiny embroidered CKH. It would beat those 'Langer Free Kingdom of Kerry' T-shirts. Apologies to those of you who wear one but in all fairness like...

Some shockingly bad Kerry t-shirts I've seen are "People's Republic of Kerry" "Irish by birth, Kerry by the Grace of God." The first is especially grating seeing it's copying Cork which is completely unnecessary seeing that Cork coming up with "The People's Republic Of Cork" in the 90's was obviously a rip-off of Kerry's nickname "The Kingdom" which Kerry has been known as since the 6th century or more precisely Ciar's Kingdom ("Ciarraí").

"Irish by birth, Kerry by the Grace of God." ("Ciarraí"). This is also ripped-off from our Leeside neighbours. Originality, anyone? Talking about T-shirts, I'd love to get my hands on one of those 5-in-a-row yokes that were printed in vast quantities before the '82 final. Imagine wearing that and as bold as brass, walk into the Washington Inn in Langerland?

You'd get more of a reaction walking into a pub somewhere in Offaly where they have the same t-shirts on the walls, with the five struck out and a one put in :-)
The best t-shirts for Kerry are the Maurice Fitz and Bomber ones that were on sale a few years back.

I have both of them stacks. You can also get Spillane.
I must admit I got a Jimmy Barry Murphy one for the father in laws birthday, not realising that the hoor would wear it at every available opportunity.
offtheball.ie I think are the crowd that sold them

I saw website recently (can't remember the name) where there were old replica jersies for sale. I think this has a bit of potential also.

retrogaa.com has the 1979 Kerry shirt. offtheball.ie has a Fitzie tee-shirt, I have it with "Watch this" printed on it, which is what Maurice said to Carr as he put that sideline kick in Thurles over the bar from 85 yards with Carr trying to block him. They also have Bomber and Spillane. Just be sure you don't wear the Bomber shirt going through an airport....

Los Angeles isn't great, there is one bar in the valley called Irelands 32 and that shows all the games, it gets a good crowd for the finals etc but you don't have many willing to get up at 5:30am on a Sunday morning! East Coast a little at the moment with work, so got to watch the Cork Meath game in a place called the Gas Light on Queens Blvd and 43rd I think, great spot, they even showed the Kerry Monaghan game that afternoon aswell. Also, looking like thats the spot I'll be watching the Kerry game in if I stick around New York for the weekend!!!

CKH would be a cool Tee shirt alright. The Langer free Kingdom of Kerry are a bit crap. If anything it should be Pat O' Shea's Kingdom of Kerry. Just ordered my Bomber tee shirt last week also www.offtheball.ie
