I'm getting a little concerned now. I sent them an email 12 days ago about my attendance. I have gone gone to 10/13 but it says 6/13 and they say they are "looking into it". Also I opted out of the Clare match as I had a prior engagement. I don't think that your opt out should count in the attendance stat. I knew all year that I wouldn't be able to go to the quarter final if Kerry made it and was going to save my opt out for that but thought it would be easier to give my ticket away for the quarter final match than the Clare one. I really should have given somebody my ticket for the Clare match and not bother with the opt out. Keep at them. Rachel is very good to get back to me when I have a query.

No news yet on general ticket sales for non-season ticket holders?

How does the bring a friend option work and is it likely to be in place this weekend? If I'm in a group of 3 season holders, can we get 6 tickets together? I assume friends are charged full price rather than the 5 euro off?

Does anyone know if it will be card entry or ticket entry for the season ticket?

It is ticket only. Card to be charged Wednesday and ticket in your online account on Thursday.

This is the reply I got when I queried why my attendance for the 3 Qualifier games have not been recorded:
Attendances for the last couple of games will be updated shortly. when bar codes are scanned they go into a file which has to be downloaded from the scanner, uploaded onto a computer and then inputted into the accounts themselves, which can take a fair bit of time.

Once they have it sorted in time to get my All Ireland Final Tickets !!!!!!!!
I looked it up yesterday. They have me down for attending the Clare match which was via scanner and not attending the Tyrone game which was a prited ticket.
Anyway, whenever I emailed them before they were very quick to reply and rectify the situation. Its still the best ticket scheme ever brought in by the GAA

The tickets are now available. For me anyway.... Section 305. As for the attendance record it's been updated but is showing the Tyrone match as unattended.....Gah...I'll let it slide till after the quarter final......might not matter by then.....hopefully it will.

Lads any of you have the problem of buying two tickets at the one time, but only one being available to print? It happened a few times last year and Iv had to get on to them. Very infuriating.
Also they should have sent an email out last week stating that printed tickets weren't required for Clare

Section 304 for me, 5 seats back from the side line in seat 13. SEAT13 if you dont mind. It will be ok once Gooch has 14. HEANEY will have an article in the Cork Examiner tomorrow and i hope it will be ignored. His effort last week went unnoticed so his having a right go tomorrow. Another northern man who cant take a hammering.

In fairness an email was sent out last week about that.

Renewal notices out today. If you renew before end of month it's only €75. And I can get free tickets to the International Rules game in H Q. I may pass on that part of the special offer.
Renewal after Oct is €85. Still €10 for the kids.
I wonder are there any new ones available or is it fully subscribed again.

www.irishexaminer.com/sport/gaa/gaa-reduce-admission-prices-for-league-games-to-10-255990.htmlLeague games have been reduced from €13 to €10, provided you purchase in advance. A welcome development, a league match should never have cost in excess of €10 in the first place. That said, it would have been useful to know this information before purchasing the season ticket. Seven league games plus the Championship opener will now total €90. The season ticket cost €88 with postage - absolutely no value there especially seeing as it's very unlikely the majority will make all eight matches, such is life. It will be my last time purchasing unless there's a bit more financial value in it.

However you have to factor in 1 free game in championship and €5 reduction for every game thereafter. additionally the charge is just €5 per game for my teenage son. Still great value in my book.

-I factored in the Championship opener, which isn't really free at all as you have already paid for it.
-Fair enough with regards to the €5 reduction thereafter.
-I don't have any sons/daughters so that's of no use to me but is certainly appealing if you do.
-Yeah... basically the AI ticket is the major carrot is terms of convenience.
I just think it should be more beneficial financially. Maybe if they included all your counties underage games, McGrath Cup games, challenge matches, etc it would attract my interest again but otherwise, I'm out.

Completely. I would be fairly shocked if they got there this time around, not impossible but unlikely. That said, there are only a handful of teams in the running.
Either way, it won't be of any financial benefit even if they do... it'll just save me the hassle of exhausting the various avenues trying to obtain a ticket.

Delorean, I think you will be pleasantly surprised this year. I think the young kids were the main players for Cork last year. They will be better this year, where that leaves them will probably be an AI S/F or Final. Maybe need another free scoring forward.
