The 2022 scheme is significantly inferior to previous years.
€30/€50 increase in price. No €5 discount for championship games (except All Ireland final). No free tickets to All Ireland club finals. You can only attend your own county's league games, you cannot attend other football league games as you could previously. Seating groups are also gone.

Also got the email. Warning that it has to be renewed before December 10th. Unless you are a Mayo or Dublin ST holder who have until January 5th. how's that? How come the gaa can't be straight with anything, as my father god rest him used to say, the gaa are as crooked as a dogs hind leg.

I read somewhere online that there is offers for the senior club finals going to be given, as for the seating groups there will surely have to be that option. It would defeat the purpose of the season tickets if everyone had to sit away from family and friends. I'd imagine they will be set up closer to the beginning of the league. I'm not so sure about the €5 discount though, this might well be gone.

Dublin and Mayo sell out their allocation of tickets and there is a waiting list. I don’t think any other county comes even close to selling out so even if you miss the Dec 10th deadline, you can I assume purchase at a later stage. I assume they want as many people as possible to be able to purchase for Christmas gifts for example,

Kerry probably would only get 3,500 sold. With Covid and the price increase it wouldn't surprise me if it didn't get to that.

Got an email this morning saying season tickets are available, a new rule is you can only miss 1 championship game to be eligible for a final ticket. They better have upgraded their scanners. Do you actually have to attend the match or is it as long as you buy the ticket you are eligible for a final ticket ie your attendance record is irrelevant

I think apart from the 1 opt out you automatically get charged for the rest of your counties championship games. That's how it used to be anyways.

Yeah I know but the 60% requirement seems to have gone as far as I can tell so the way it worked before may not be the best guide.

Looks like there will be no recording of who attends the matches so I assume Final tickets will be based upon purchasing of tickets. The auto purchase also looks like it is removed, you must chose to buy the tickets.

With the removal of the 60% attendance requirement and a opt out for only 1 game does that mean you must purchase tickets for all other games to qualify for any AI final ticket ?

All these changes just mean more money for the GAA. At least previously you could go a large chunk of league games and then pick and choose the championship games you wanted to go to. If you want a guaranteed final ticket now, the Gaa will get a lot more out of you.

I managed to renew our tickets on the third attempt. Our tickets were "County plus club" and I was only provided with the option to renew the expiring tickets. My questions is how, in the absence of a card, will I be permitted entry to club fixtures??? This only occurred to me after I had renewed ......

All these changes just mean more money for the GAA. At least previously you could go a large chunk of league games and then pick and choose the championship games you wanted to go to. If you want a guaranteed final ticket now, the Gaa will get a lot more out of you. Well let's say 5 championship games, 2 in munster and 3 in AI series including the final, the final you're paying for anyway so what leaves 4 games. One of these is included in the price. One more you can opt out of paying for. So you're only paying for 2 games. So it's 150 euro plus entry to 2 championship games, say maybe 40 each, plus the 90 for the final, that's a total of 320 euro to go see every game Kerry play in 2022 excluding one championship game (if that's what you want). That's not too bad for up to 12 games is it? And you get to avoid the rat race for the tickets to the final.

Have (standard) ticket prices been announced for the National League?

Have (standard) ticket prices been announced for the National League? It used to be about €15 pre paid an €20 on the day but with all the paying at the gate craic gone I imagine standard prices would be €20 and for them to be paid for in advance. I think the limits for crowds are at 5,000 so all games might be ticket only events.

What happens if the sum total of season ticket holders between the 2 counties playing exceed 5000,as in case of Kerry and Dublin.Whogets access to tickets and that's not even accounting for non season ticket holders.Only 2 weeks to the start of the League so a process must be eminent.
