Wondering how you got them? I ticked also, but there's nothing in "My Match Tickets" yet...?

My season ticket for Mayo game has registered "attended" his afternoon.
I dont think the season ticket gets you admitted to U20 final tomorrow night.

I'd hold fire here, we can forget about Debits and Credits, it will be all spirit even barter, for a while I am afraid, nobody will part with money but they will return the compliment, e.g. like replay tickets being discounted, if ya with me? I mean who in their right mind would risk cashflow problems by parting with cash? This is but a sign of the times ahead and things sports will be well down everybody's list, the GAA helped the community, what with hosting testing centers and volunteering, etc and a lot of decency and charity awaits us all.
That is my take on it a anyway, am I making sense!
We have all seen acts of pure class, I have never felt so proud to be Irish than when those stats came out in the past few days re how we are beating the cursed thing - e.g. cross infection rate down from was it 10:1 to 5:1 to 4:1 to 1:1 now - we did this as a nation, ok we were advised but so too were other natiions and who unfortunately need to catch up, if we stick with it we will be better off, this forum has got great speakers and advocates, good at voicing iour opinions, we now need to put it to good use in a manner we never thought would be our reality. As a demographic group we owe it to the community and you know what they say, what goes around comes around, it is our own that are risk - who hasn't had their day made by watching a game with an wise auld man who has genuinely forgotten more than we will ever learn about life, they grew up in hard times and we owe it to them.

Absolutely pathetic from the GAA. I couldn’t care less about a refund but it takes a certain mindset to do that in a week when tens and thousands of people were losing their jobs.

Yup - it's very disappointing behaviour. The vast majority of the Season Ticket holders are the core of the GAA - this is a very shabby way to treat those who are among the most loyal GAA supporters.

The GAA position seems to be that they had already distributed the bulk of money taken in for season tickets ? I'm not defending it, I'm just going by what's in the article or am I missing something? they're saying that the money was given out to counties already.
Does this mean that down the line, they'll claim that if they had to refund a proportion of 2020 fee to all season tickets holders, they wouldn't have the resources to do so?

The GAA would not go bankrupt if they offered a 25 euro refund on the season ticket if say there were no games this year. I would be happy for the gaa to keep the money. Instead, they rushed to change the t&c asap.

I am far from a legal expert but i would have thought that when you sign up and "pays your money", its the terms and conditions applicable at that date that matter.

2020 GAA Season Ticket Update
A Chara,
These are truly exceptional times for all aspects of society along with the GAA and its members.
We are still hopeful of completing the 2020 intercounty and club season over the course of the current year. This will include championship and some of the remaining league fixtures.
If this unfortunately does not prove to be possible due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, we will offer all 2020 Season Ticket holders a discount on their 2021 Season Ticket, or alternatively a partial refund of their 2020 Season Ticket. All refund decisions will be dependent on how the remainder of the 2020 Season can be completed.
With reference to the updated Terms and Conditions applicable to the GAA season ticket, this was seeking to provide greater clarity to the existing terms and conditions for our season ticket holders and not an attempt by the GAA to step back from its obligations in dealing with the matter at hand.
The re-commencement of all GAA fixtures are fully dependant on Government directives and HSE and WHO best practice health advice. Once we have more information available regarding the resumption or otherwise of GAA fixtures we will be in contact with all Season Ticket holders.
Regards, GAA Ticket Office

Does anyone know what is happening with the Club+ Season Ticket and the Club Championship games over next weekend? No mention of it in the Press Release by the County Board.

Does anyone know what is happening with the Club+ Season Ticket and the Club Championship games over next weekend? No mention of it in the Press Release by the County Board. Looks like you are out of luck with the current ridiculous cap of 200 at a game It is a bit confusing: Tickets for Pass Holders Only applicable where capacity is a max of 500 All pass holders, be they Croke Park Season Ticket Holders (Club Plus) or Cairde Chiarraí or Austin Stack Park Development Scheme or Fitzgerald Stadium Development Scheme or people who purchased Annual Club Passes from the Co Board/Kerry GAA Shop or any other pass holder will be treated the same and all will be entitled to one match pass per round if available. Note only one pass for each person entitled to same. In some of the schemes the client may have been entitled to two passes in lieu of his /her contribution to respective scheme, on this occasion they will only have access to one complementary match ticket per rd. if available. In the first instance all the above Pass Holders will be asked by Kerry County Board to register online so that the system can recognise what Scheme are they with, whether they are entitled to a complimentary ticket and so on. This involves some initial work on the part of the County Board but we are happy that we will be able to link up everybody. How do people register and how do we let them know of these changes? Where we have email addresses, we will correspond directly. Otherwise we will depend on media announcements, social media, etc to let them know. An email address will be required in order to register, the order will not process without one. What’s involved in registering? This will be organised by Kerry County Board and will involve (i) identifying the person and matching them with whatever scheme they have subscribed to which allows them access to a complementary ticket. (ii) Gathering their details ie name, address, email address so that going forward they’re recognised by the system. I’m a Pass Holder and I’ve registered on the system – what happens when I go looking for a complementary ticket for a specific Match. As a recognised Pass Holder, you will be given a priority status similar to the clubs who are participating in the specific Match. 100 tickets will be put up for each game and these tickets will be only for Pass Holders. You will have until 5pm on the Wednesday before the game to access your ticket. You can either print your ticket or just keep it on your phone. On the day of the game the ticket will be scanned at the gate before you are left enter the grounds. Note the Scanner will record the details of the person (name, address, email address and phone number) so should it be necessary in a Covid context to trace that person, this is possible. Once the ticket is scanned, no copy or duplicate can be used to gain access as the scanner is programmed to recognise duplicate bar-codes. Once the deadline of 5pm Wednesday on week of the match, passes you can no longer avail of complementary tickets for that weekend’s games. Any surplus tickets left will be re- allocated for Public Sale.

Thanks for sharing that, I didn't find any of that detail in their press release or on the website.
Where does one actually register their details? Was that detail shared at all?

Got the email today that they were cancelling the season ticket and I was getting a refund of €40. I purchased the club + ticket for €200. There was 5 league games I could possibly have gone to. You could get tickets for €15. €15 X 5 = €75. So basically they are after fleecing St holders €125.

Season ticket holders could be accommodated in Croke Park later in the year, at the later part of the championship while respecting social distancing guidelines. You won't see them cancelling the corporate section ticket holders!!

Odd for the Gaa to make this call 2.5 months before any inter county matches. It feels a bit premature

More than likely shut down by then. What else are we supposed to think? Could be a hard winter, while there are solutions to Corvid coming on stream it is also possible that a cure may never be found - impossible not to sense we are sleep walking here but on the other hand there is little we can do bar follow the advice. Ah we could be talking about it all day long but the facts remain. Stay safe everyone

I never expected to get anything back from the amateur organisation the Gaa is so €40 is better then nothing, but they are some bunch. It is up to the customers to voice themselves and they will need those customers next year.
