rashers .........whats happening with the dubs and the march towards the hill before the match .......It looked more like an embarrassed ramble last sunday. Are they maturing a bit?
Do you think that they should continue with it

Do you think that they should continue with it They should keep going....until the Hill meets them half-way! Stick to your principles, dont let the b.astards grind you down, determination is the birthright of Dubs - and we wont follow the sheepish herd to play an enormous man-mountain target man either. Like Bjorn Borg in the 70s, when tennis was being touted to be taken over by big lads with even bigger serves, we will prove yis all wrong!

The bigger issue for both sides is that the match resembled the Mayo V Dublin match last year - great to watch but the marking was atrocious. Don't think any of the other counties would be overly worried by that. After the first round of games I would put the contenders in the following order 5. Donegal - wasn't impressed v Armagh, but you never know 4. Armagh - Same as Donegal 3. Tyrone - You never know, but all those injuries, and lack of Peter C 2. Cork - Suspect the hoors are our biggest threat - they are shaping up into a fairly balanced team, good backs, midfield, forwards a combination of guile & grapft. 1. Kerry - 10 forwards on view worth their places

Becker yes, but since Sampras it's been a player with both power & guile that has dominated. I think the Dubs embody both those attributes......along with wit, charm & good looks of course

Rashers, just keep telling yourself that.... ye don't have overly fantastic small lads either. Good enough for de Rebs I'll wager In fairness, I think that Cork's attempt to copy the target-man plan, whilst blatantly obvious, is more clever than people think, because it removes attention from the other forwards. Still, I'd rather have Conal, Brogey & Mossy, Bonner or even Mark Vaughan, running rings around defences, than some big galoot trying to eat the hail mary balls

Dublin played plenty of long balls into the full forward line against meath That's because Brogey, Conal & Mossy are all very good ball-winners. So is Mark Vaughan incidentally. Do you think Kerry will adopt the same hit & hope approach this year? Abue, time will tell

There's only one full back in the country who has any hope of competing in the air regularly with star(Canty), so if the ball into him is good he's gonna win about 60-80% of it...lay it off, or score himself...but of course teams are gonna try everything to stop him this year, so twil be interesting.
