Does anyone know how to upload a game from the UPC box to a computer. There is a scart socket on the UPC box. Is there a lead you can get to connect UPC box to a computer?

Sorry for being a plague, but is there any chance yesterday game can be uploaded? The RTE player is a complete disaster.

Sorry for being a plague, but is there any chance yesterday game can be uploaded? The RTE player is a complete disaster. I have the game in FLV format which means you will need to download the program from here www.videolan.org/index.html to play it. I ripped it from the RTE site earlier. I havent watched it myself but, thats how i usually download stuff from RTE. PM me the link as i wont post it up here especially when its on the RTE player etc. If i get time during the week ill convert it to a more widely used format like mp4 etc

This video wont win any awards for clarity or technical knowhow but its watchable all the same.
Its basically a video of the TG4 player "screen" and it shows the recent Munster Minor football final of 2015 where Kerry beat Tipp.
I uploaded it for the Kerry diaspora everywhere especially "ansuilleabhanagh with the two fadas"
I put The Boys of Barr na Sraide over it as this is surely Kerrys anthem. The singer is Sean Garvey from Caherciveen, the hometown of the author Sigerson Clifford. The bit of music at the end is by Danny O'Mahony from Ballyduff.
Paidi and Mick ODwyer were interviewed on RTE radio a few years ago and Paidi told a story about the bus journey from the Malahide Hotel to Croke Park for the 1975 final. Somewhere near Donnycarney there was a man with a Kerry hat at the bus stop on his own. The bus stopped and on he hopped. The man stood at the front of the bus and sang The Boys of Barr na Sraide and you could hear a pin drop. It lifted everyone. When the bus reached Clonliffe Raoad the man hopped off and they never found out who he was.

I enjoyed that Mickmack. Heard that story before about that guy on the bus. Somehow I remember the story having a twist, that Dwyer knew the guy and had it planned, Either way it's a great story about a great song and a great team that would go into folklore.

Someone in Croke Park had the idea of playing the "pocar" to salute Kerrys victory after the 2014 final. I had a few clips of footage on my phone and dubbed them with this version by the Chieftains. I was never a fan of this song but it was a special moment especially for anyone on Hill 16.

An Poc ar Buile in the sun was almost like a spiritual experience for me! Maybe your man in black from 1.42 on is something like what it was like for me.

I'm back! I actually wasn't active on the forum for almost a year. I still have all those games plus most Championship matches over the last 5 years since also. My broadband speed isn't the best for uploading however but I could try work on something if necessary. I'm not sure which are good hosts anymore also.

If I could be so cheeky as to give someone with more knowledge some advice...... register with Youtube and click the option to upload long videos...... and you can upload full games. You can delete them from your harddrive then. Paste the link for Youtube in here..... They will always play on youtube Mick
