Have a great time in Dungarvan. VISIT www.upthedeise.com and come to the message boards. You are more than welcome! Word had it that the Kingdom lads were understandably anxious about the “big fellas” the Déise had i lár na páirce!!!

Are Waterford the second best football team ever after Kerry? Just wondering cos I hear they are the second best hurling county ever after Kilkenny.

Waterford football can't be in too bad a state judging by the performance of The Nire against the Crokes in the Munster Club Final last November. Only poor finishing stopped and some opportunistic goals from Gooch prevented an upset that day. Oh, and if the support Waterford have is half as loud as the Nire had that day, then I'll be packing my earplugs for Sunday.

Eire Og from Carlow consistently got to the latter stages of the All Ireland Club Championships and Rathnew and was it Baltinglass used to do great in Leinster back in early 1990's. But you never saw Carlow or Wicklow setting the world on fire. Club does not always get reflected in county success

The greater the club rivalry the harder it is to get lads to pull together for the county. Look at Joe Canning in Galway and the way he was treated. He may never now reach his potential at county level........ and he was as good as DJ was at the same age......

Kerry07, it's a long story, but goes something like this, upthedeise had a poll before about who were the greatest hurling county. They didn't even put Cork on the poll... I could go on about other nonsensical things that have appeared over the years on their website but I really won't waste my time. Also for the record, both Cork and Kilkenny have 30 All Irelands each.
