Your prize of a cuddly toy is on its way Steelfixer.
Believe it or not, they have produced more senior medal winners than any other school in Ireland, north or south, across both codes. The Sunday Indo ran an article about two years ago and after ringing all the hurling strong holds, St. Kierans were the closest but still some way behind the Green.

I should rephrase it. It is medals, not medal winners.

which player from offally has all-stars in both football and hurling. That'd be Liam Currams? Name the other three dual all star winners.

You'd be right on JBM......
Could be wrong on this one - will check it up, but think Currams was midfield in '81 when they won the hurling. He was half back against us in '82 alright.
The others, I'll let ye guessing for a while.

please accept my humblest apologies for posing an invalid question. I was misinformed it appears.. No worries, just wouldn't want you clobbered in the pub some night by a fella quare with the drink and he after getting the question right or wrong. not 100% sure about midfield. would frank cummins be one of the others from cork. Bang on. He was full forward both times. Brian Murphy would be the final one, also from Cork. He was corner back in the football team and wing back in the hurling team. Currams was midfield alright in '81 on the hurling team and no. 7 on the '82 football team. Tis on the GAA website there.

I've a shedload of work to be done but can't face it - don't know what's wrong with me. Think it must be the drink from the weekend.....ya, that's it. Nothing to do with actually being bored today.
Strange one Hoffster - it's the only time he ever played in goals?

Kerins is actually a good enuff keeper. Eoin Kelly(tipp) played for the tipp minors in goals when he was 15 aswell, but they lost Munster final I think.
