This may be of interest to Cork based Kerry supporters, Ryanair have exceptionally cheap flights to Dublin from Cork on the Saturday before the final and returning on the Monday after it. I booked mine for 25 Euro including all taxes and charges.

Don't forget your passports!!!.....After getting 2 hours sleep whilsts making my way from Punchestown to Dublin Airport, Ryanair stopped me getting on a flight at 7:45 am when I was flying home from Oxegen.I was covered in mud - wearing sun-glasses, shorts, sandals and a hoodie!!.....had my garda ID and student ID but appartently new Ryanair scam....ahem policy means that you now require a passport/drivers license when flying internally...(some joke)... just be weary

You'd bus or train to Dublin from Cork for less money and probably far less hassle to be honest. Shorthaul flights just ain't worth the effort, or the environmental damage (but thats another story).

From past experiance, for those who are looking to go up and down on the day, a limo is the unbelievable craic. 8 of us went in a limo (for less cost then a train) for the Armagh game.... we left town at 7-45 and were up in Dublin well before 12 for the Armagh game....After topping up at the Palace it then dropped us right outside Croker! We were back home in Kerry for 12 after a couple of pit stops on the way down

I'll have to take the plane Kerryman as I'm far across the ocean etc. But if you know of a submersible pony and trap, I'm only too happy to help out the environment.

For any of you stuck in Cork, there are still tickets available for the train. God knows enough of you went from there for the semi-final.

I hope it wasnt the Monks Hummer Limo that you travelled in Walter. I think you would have had worse hassel from him than you did with Ryanair Re: identifiation
