there's always tickets about the last few days. it really annoys me people on this forum going on about people shouldn't go to the final if they haven't been to other games, that they'll deprive someone who has been to every game. This simply is not true (correct me if i'm wrong). Anyone that has been to all the games will get a ticket, they may find it harder and they may have to leave Kerry without one, but they will get one (if they go to Dublin), so really nobody is denying anyone deserving of a ticket. If only people that have been to previous Kerry games went to the final, we would have very few there. The reality is there are lots of Kerry supporters that only go to final and everyone should be encouraged to go and bring up the numbers of Kerry support on the day. Look at last weekend, Cork supporters apparently outnumbered KK by 3 or 4 to 1. Trust me, everyone from Mayo will be going, they want to see history.

Well id prefer if the those who waited till the final to go to a match, to be the ones waiting outside the Gresham and fretting about tickets. Its not a nice feeling. The whole morning of the final is ruined

No need to get smart. It just takes a few extra seconds to type those few extra letters and it makes things easier for everyone to read. Unless it's some kind of a code that only you can read? As for the ticket, maybe you should ask a few Kerry people before you start asking Cork people if they would like it.

Now if ye'll excuse me I must get back to answering my quiz questions and saying novenas. p.s. The tickets will show up. They always do. For the 2002 final I got my ticket at 8.30am on the day of the match, and by throw in I had handed off 4 more to friends and family. I was as determined as an Armagh manager giving a half time pep-talk so I was

How did you magically get tickets coming out of your ears all of a sudden?
I'll be in Dublin from the Friday so hopefully they will appear to me at some stage.

It seems to me that tickets alwats turn up. I've rarely heard of people (from Kerry anyway) going up to Dublin and not getting a ticket. Theres always a brother in law or a cousin of a friend who can get you one!

When they have their immediate friends and family sorted by noon outside the gresham then they remember they heard about someone who's a friend of a friend who was looking for a ticket (me in this case). Leave no stone unturned an the ticket will show up.

Got word of my ticket last night. lovely. Don't know if its Hill 16 or stand but who bloody cares! I'd watch it from the roof. All I'll say is that I've been to every game this year so I've paid my dues! I know one lad who might be getting a ticket for playing the Bodhrán on the pitch at half time! Lucky for him he can play. I considered joining the Artane Boys Band ....I'm a mighty man with the triangle!

Think the supply is more plentyful this year and therefore the demand for tickets seems to be down a small bit.

Outside the Gresham - it's worked twice for me. Get a sign made up with an auld bit of cardboard, put it over your head and stand near the door. Stood next to Teddy McCarthy the day of an All Ireland hurling final in a Kilkenny jersey looking for a ticket for a friend. Big Kilkenny fan here for those of you who haven't spotted that down through the last two years. He gave me dogs abuse for looking for a ticket at a Cork hotel!! Got my ticket ten minutes later and well, I turned to Teddy and said "I was a huge admirer of yours after your two All Ireland medals in one year. But as a Kerry man, I certainly have no time for you now" and walked off.
Mind you, I once got a ticket for a hurling final at Mass in Donnybrook. Same Kilkenny jersey on me, old man turns to me, says he has a spare one and would I like it!!
