Was just wondering how many finals kerry have been in. They won 33 but how many have they lost. Have they ever lost 2 in a row?

They actually lost quite a few in the 50's and 60's for what was a great team. Dont know off the top of my head if they lost 2 in a row but a little searching online would tell you.

Kerry have lost the most All-Ireland Finals with 17, Cork are next and then Dublin. Kerry lost two in a row in 64 and 65.

A beeauuutiful symmetry! ;D

the ninties were hungry times for kerry football,3 all-ireland semi final defeats and one all-ireland victory.
the oo's are starting to become comparable with any of the great decades for kerry football.

great stats, you know what's interesting, look at Tyrone and Armagh, who are supposed 2 of the greats of the current era, they've only won 1 each and lost 5 between two of them...

cork's record in finals (6 wins from 21) is bad. its almost as bad as mayo's (3 from 12)
it would be interesting to see similar stats for the last 30-40 years or so.

2 out of 4 for Tyrone looks a lot better than what was 0 out of 2 only a couple of years ago anyway

I fixed the Tyrone error. They've won 2 and lost 2.
Also some added stats... Kerry v Provinces in All-Irelands (Won/Played) Kerry v Ulster (4/9) Kerry v Connaught (10/14) Kerry v Leinster (18/28) Kerry v London (1/1)
