Dublin leaking goal chances.
Derry looking good in March too.

I didn't think the last free was a free.
Dublin wide open at the back and Derry butchering most of their chances.
I have no faith in Derrys keeper. He worries me

It’s a high risk strategy so obviously if it goes wrong it can be calamitous but over a season it’s well worth it when you’ve someone as good as him. Distribution from the hands and the tee top class today

Look the main thing is midfield and Derry have the best pairing on the country.Dublin have the best midfielder. To compete with Dublin Fenton has to be negated like today.Enthralling game today.Id say much more entertaining than a top premiership nil all draw.😁 Not just midfield thought the Derry half forwards were excellent aswell I'd forgotten Fenton was playing until he got sent off !

Where was Conor Glass against Kerry last year?
His performances may have improved.

A great contest. A shame about the skullduggery at the end. Fair play the Dubs. They went down fighting!
I feel Derry deserved it not least because the referee gifted Dublin the equalizer in normal time.
Most of the experts were telling us that nobody was interested in winning the NFL!
The Derry goalie was one of the most influential players all through, like or loathe that wandering goalkeeper tactic.
I am sure it will be testy and tasty If these sides meet again later on in the year.
The result means at the very least, as some of us have been hinting recently , no name has been inscribed yet on the Sam Maguire for 2024.
The downside of today is that the hype surrounding Dublin will lessen. That is a pity.

Derry have the best spread of real quality footballers out of any team at the moment without a doubt for me.
McGuigan, Glass, Rogers, McKinless, McCluskey, McEvoy and potentially Murray.
Dublin’s strength is their work rate, athleticism, adaptability etc. rather than having 7 or 8 unbelievable footballers. Yes I know Fenton, Kilkenny, Howard and arguably O’Callaghan but that’s it for me.
Ourselves in reality are reliant on David counting as 2 or 3 top players, we’ve others like Paudie and Tom O’Sullivan but can’t compete with Derry’s range of quality.
Derry are going to be a force for years to come, Eoin McEvoy and Lachlann Murray both outstanding today were on the 2020 AI winning minor team. They won the minor AI last year and are favourites again this year.

Two greater prospects you won’t find than those two Brolly s County seem to have quiet a production line at present
The refreshing thing today was apart from new County winning Was the amount of times Derry put the ball in over the top I was beginning to wonder if that skill was gone They caught out the Dubs about 6 times today with the kick pass over the top to the free Derry forward Dublin looked very naive and vulnerable to that

Congrats to Derry on a deserved victory. I'm no fan of M.Harte but he gets the best out of teams he manages. He basically gave Dublin the 2 League points to have 1 go at them today. Derry were tough as teak today. they out bullied Dublin at times today. They have everything required to mount a serious challenge to win 'Sam' this year.
Dublin are a top side but not as good as the media have you believe.
Roll on the Championship.

Cracking game . Derrys fitness level is phenomenal for this time of year. Their halfback line was outstanding. Dublin couldn’t cope with the runners . When they attacked you had the 2 midfielders 3 half backs driving forward essentially 11 forwards coming at you . They’ll be tough to beat . Great game though .

Two great games today. Ulster football in rude health it appears. Kerry would have trouble with any of the four. The doom and gloom about football being dead and boring looks a bit premature after today. Can Jack O Connor get us into a place where we believe in Kerry Football again? That's the big question.

2 cracking matches today. Brilliant stuff. Some of the shooting and inventive thinking was excellent from all teams. And all this was with full on defending.
Maybe there's nothing wrong with the game. No need for rule changes.
Maybe the problem is elsewhere? Like the actual structure of the championship. It's only the matches where it's knockout that teams go at it properly.

Rogers and Glass are a top class midfield partnership we can’t compete with them. We did beat Derry last year but they’re much better this year. Dublin Derry Kerry Donegal Mayo Tyrone . I suppose on a one off any of them can beat each other . We’ll see what happens.
