Ulster University beat UCC by 2 points.
UCC had 2 goal chances that may have changed the game but overall UU deserved it.
From a Kerry perspective nobody really stood out for me.
OBeaghlaoigh playedat 9 and is a big lad and caught a few nice balls.
Interestingly, No Cillian Burke this evening or Dylan Geaney last night.

I see John Divlly working his magic again with UCD.. I've been to a few training seminars hosted by the Galway man, very insightful, I've often wondered why he never stood on any intercounty line?
Maybe the financial enticement of college ball is too alluring to refuse

It’s just wrong that players miss Sigerson because of knocks picked up in meaningless McGrath cup games. Tonight would have been a far better test for Cillian Burke than the Tipp and Limerick games combined.

Burke will feature in later rounds when he overcomes the knock, Geaney may not though. I’m only speculating but he’s doing a masters so there may not be a requirement to be on campus often so I wonder is he basing himself in Kerry to give him the best chance of breaking through and forgoing the Sigerson.
