After last Sundays poor judgment by the North Kerry Board in staging the NK Senior Final in terribly dangerous conditions (no reflection on Ballyduff`s hosting). By staging the NK Minor Championship Final, Moyvane v Tarbert in Duagh on next Sunday in Duagh they are again showing their disregard for players who spent many long evenings earlier this year with little to do. Some of these young players brought the County title to North Kerry earlier this year and this is their reward, to be expected to show their true talents at this time of year is unacceptable. The usual excuses of fixture congestion has to be rubbished by everyone that is familiar with the minor grade, other agendas are being pursued here and the NK Board needs to seriously clean up its act on many many other issues also.

Yes, i was referring to the U15s and both Tarbert and Moyvane have young minor teams. My main crib is asking under age taams to play a season decider final just a week before the Christmas. I have been reliably informed also that the NK Novice Final has now been fixed for St.Stephens Day with again both teams being notified just yesterday again showing disrespect for the players who strive to provide enjoyment for all throughout the year, these players should be left to enjoy their Christmas like everyone else. Once again the NK Board are demonstrating that they possess a monopoly on poor operational issues.

Is it true that Moyvane played their semi final on November 12th? Scandalous length of time to make lads wait for a final and no other competition on to affect it.

Talking to a Tarbert lad the game was initially fixed for earlier but due to Tarbert's U15 final with Senans, that scuppered the week before and the week of the game.. the Senior Final was 10th and there was college exams on Saturday 9th and 16th... I often wouldn't defend the NK Board but on this occasion, it was kind of our of their hands.
But I'd say the Boro boys don't care this morning

Was a great game by all accounts, full blooded. Anybody at it with any reports? When is the intermediate final now fixed for?

Thoughts on darragh lynch: I think that boy is a superb footballer he should never be benched for the team himself and robert heffernan have the best kick of a ball that i have seen come from listowel since noel kennelly

Unbelievable finish to the NK League clash between Ballyduff and Listowel today. Emmets trailed by 2 points with a couple of minutes remaining when JoeJoe Grimes launched one from what must have been at least 70 metres into the breeze. The ball bounced in the area and went over the bar. A minute later the same player pulled a Kevin Goulding freekick from under Emmett's crossbar, started an attack, took possession again on halfway and, from fully 65 metres this time, fired straight over the bar with the last kick of the game.
These were Listowel's only scores of the second half. Astonishing stuff. If it was intercounty with cameras, they'd be replayed forever.
