Back to the game, a win potentially means a league final, a loss means some extra pressure, interesting Sunday ahead, other results may influence how much discomfort if we lose.
I am expecting tyrone to be really up for it at home, me thinks there open to conceding goals, might be our get out of jail card, to a win.

Do most see the same team as the Armagh game starting? Jack stated that Geaney, O'Beaglaoich and White making progress and possibly in the frame for Sunday's game... it would be good to get grass into the legs.
Being honest, there isn't many places up for grabs, no one really has made a push. Roche and Donal down are on an upward curve as is Barry Dan, but are they going to dislodge Geaney, either Spillane, Diarmuid O'Connor or O'Brien.... I don't think so.
Breen is probably best placed but made of glass..

If Stefan can play consistently like last Sat along with Spillane in the HF line it would give us 4 lads along with Seanie around the middle to win primary ball. I hope to see O'Beaglaoich on Sunday has he gives us real pace in that HB line.

Beaglaoich isn’t close to being back, it’s Geaney and White who are back training. Beaglaoich is unlikely to be back before the championship.
Only position where we might see a change Sunday I think is in the full forward line, will Darragh Roche hold his spot or will Tony Brosnan or Donal O’Sullivan start instead. Stefan will start at wing back I’d imagine.

Given Tyrone's reliance on Peter Harte we might see Okunbor do a similar role as on Rian O'Neill. Keep Harte occupied and you stop ball to the Tyrone forwards. Spillane will probably be deployed again in that middle third. I can't see either team sticking to traditional positions and Foley and Tom O'Sullivan will be needed going forward. Patient score building like against Armagh will be key for Kerry against Tyrone. The key is to make Tyrone uncomfortable. They are a very formidable team if they can play their own game and dominate the play. If we ket them do that they will hammer Kerry. If we can upset them and make them dount themselves they are there for the taking. The last few matches have shown that Tyrone confidence is not great and despite the great team that they have they have not clicked as they should. It is a must win for Tyrone, and probably for Kerry too, just to be safe.

Tyrone have no one comparable to Rian O’Neill, a real key player with size who drifts in and out and needs to be ‘tagged’. The only other player in the country who I could see Stefan being given the task of ‘tagging’ is possibly Ciaran Kilkenny. Michael Murphy would have been another if he hadn’t retired. So Stefan will have be able to contribute in another role as well. I think that’s adding another physical presence as a wing back. I would say midfield if we didn’t already have Jack Barry there, I think they are too similar to have as a partnership.

However while I was very impressed with Stefan the last day its too early for judgement but he deserves to hold his place for the moon Jack B. I thought he had a fine game the last day. He also had a very good AI final last year. He has plenty in his locker but I get frustrated with him at times. Also has a habit of picking up silly cards but I'm still a fan of his. Jack Barry for me is in a similar position to Adrian Spillane, it's only when they are missing that we understand or get a feel for their true worth. Mayo bullied us on the flanks two weeks ago, whereas Saturday night was a differant gravy...

Can anyone shed any light on Dan O'Donoghue ? He looked like a serious player before he got injured.

I know where you're coming from horse but remember that Adrian didn't play against mayo in the all Ireland quarter final last year and we weren't bullied then. He also didn't start the semi and final. I think it was more a systems failure in Castlebar. Our half forward line and midfield exerted no pressure on mayo bringing the ball out. This resulted in Morley as a sweeper being redundant with the numbers flowing forward.

Ah lads stop, GW is on the way back from injury, Brian o Beaglaoi is also still out, 2 of our best last year, they will be straight in when ready.

Strong 15, strong bench. I assume they're wouldn't have been too much work done this week with it being the third game in as many weeks.
Hopefully we should have a spring in the step anyway!

Jack o Shea seems to have been on the bench for every game for the last year yet he has never got a minutes football. There have been load of lads who have come onto and off the 26 who have played but Jack has not for whatever reason.

Dan O’Donoghue was on the bench for the first league game and Gavin Crowley for the Monaghan game I think. I wonder are both injured because I’d personally be surprised if Jack O’Shea, Pa Warren and Greg Horan are ahead of either in the pecking order.

Apart from the obvious, a few reasons why a win is important for Kerry today. 1) Still no away win this season, including McGrath Cup. Would be nice to break this today in what is a tough place to play. 2) Kerry have not gone a full season without defeat to Tyrone at some stage since 2019, we need to stop this run also. 3) I think Kerry will value a potential League final if we can get there, some players that have yet to rejoin the panel will benefit from that extra game. The likes of Geaney or White specifically.
Mayo got best joy against Tyrone when they ran at them, hopefully Kerry adopt this approach rather than the over and back style attack they showed against Armagh.

Defence shocking, Tyrone have got a score nearly everytime they went forward. Definitely got a shot off at least. No turnovers by our defence. They are allowed cut through unopposed and shoot. No intensity on the ball carrier.

2 magnificent saves from Shane Ryan but unfortunately that goal was a killer.
You could have dented Tyrones believe but now their tails are up.
