Kenmare Shamrocks:Should go close to promotion will be without Stephen O Brien Sean O Shea and kerry u20 Darragh O Connor but should have enough quality to win promotion. Young Player to Watch: Darren Allman Aim:Promotion St Mary’s:Should have enough to stay in the division lacking a bit of youth but with the experience of cournane and daly and the return of Sheehan they should just stay up. Young Player to watch: Alex Coffey Currow:Will struggle in this division don’t seem to have that marquee forward that will guarantee you scores have some good young players however without Kerry u20 Cathal Brosnan they will be under pressure but they will be hopefully to hold there status.Young Player to watch:Raymond O Neill Firies: Should have enough to stay in the division but won’t push for promotion but having won the junior last year they are a team you can never right off but without the services of Kerry u20s Brian McCarthy and Stephen Palmer it looks unlikely they’ll be on a promotion push Youngster to watch:Cian Doe Glenflesk:A side gaining momentum and after promotion last year Glenflesk are a dangerous side in this division but the loss of Kerry u20s John Kelliher Luke Crowley Dylan Roche and Cian Lynch could put savage pressure on a small Glenflesk panel they will be hoping for a mid table finish Young Player to Watch:Eoin Kelly. Listowel Emmets:Very solid county league outfit without any Kerry player other than Eddie Healy Listowel look as though they could mount a promotion charge.Young Player to watch:Jack Mcelligott An Ghaeltacht:Very good side on the back of a great intermediate run last year which ultimately fell short to an outstanding rathmore side with the return of Eanna O Connor from inter county duty and Tomas o Se back from injury they should be pushing for promotion this year.Young Player to Watch:Cathal Begley Na Gaeil:Having made there there maidan voyage at senior last year that experience should help them but they will be without inter county trio Jack Barry Diarmuid O Connor and Stefan Okunbor it’s unlikely they will enjoy anything other than a mid table finish.Young Player to Watch:Sean O Connor Templenoe:along with Na Gaeil the intercounty set up doesn’t help there and the loss of u20 mark Casey cause but after a great club championship run last year they won’t be lacking in confidence.Young Player to Watch:Aidan Crowley Laune Rangers:Should be in and around the top half of the table without any intercounty player at any age they will be well organised and well prepared got the league:Player to Watch:Eoin Clifford: Glenbeigh/Glencar:An ageing team who will struggle to survive but the experience of pa Kilkenny and Darren o Sullivan could just drag them to safety.Young Player to Watch:Liam Smith Beaufort:Will be there or there abouts with the return of Sean o Brien from injury and an early mid Kerry league win should give them that extra confidence for the county legaue.Young player to Watch:Darragh Dennehy Promoted:Kenmare,Laune Rangers,An Ghaeltacht Relegated:Currow,St Mary’s,Glenbeigh/Glencar

Huge win for Glenbeigh Glencar tonight in Listowel. Listowel had been motoring well in recent weeks A late surge in the last 5 minutes by Listowel Made the scoreline more respectable G/G: 1-17(20) Listowel: 2-7(13) Yeah, GG were impressive tonight, easy winners in the end. Strong and fit. Listowel didn't do a lot wrong but were simply outclassed. Good standard of football, real pace to the game. 1-8 to 0-3 at the break, Gavan O'Grady with the goal. Four points on the spin for the visitors after the break ended this one as a contest.

Will be interesting to see how Listowel Emmets get on with their new coach, Marc o Se, for the rest of the year!

Division 2 final standings-
Glenflesk - 17 (Champions) Laune Rangers - 17 (Promoted) An Ghaeltacht - 17 (Promoted) Na Gaeil - 13 Templenoe - 13 Beaufort - 11 Glenbeigh/Glencar - 11 Kenmare - 11 Listowel Emmets - 9 Firies 8 (Relegated) St Mary's 3 (Relegated) Currow 2 (Relegated)
Playoff Final result from today -
Glenflesk 4-15 Laune Rangers 2-12 (Played at Lewis Road)
An Ghaeltacht had to withdraw from what was to be a 3 way playoff for the Div 2 title, as one of their players (Colm 'Vegas')had his wedding up the country and they were unable to field a team and there was not enough dates left to have it re-fixed.

Glenflesk are definitely a coming team. I think they’re a dark horse for the intermediate. I see they won today missing Darragh Roche, Daniel O’Brien, Mark Kelliher and Brian O’Donoghue. They’ve Chris O’Donoghue involved with the Kerry Seniors and had 4 Kerry u20 panelists this year.
