Feel like Legion could be the team to beat. Great league judging off their 2nd place finish. Seems to be a lot of talk that a lot of Stacks players have gone travelling.

Watched quite a few games in the country league - Milltown very aggressive and have scorers, Kilcummin playing a great brand of football under James Foley, Stacks starting to play better but lack any class in the forward line - Legion had the county league under control and then threw it away.. this will be a very competitive and Glenflesk wont be far away.

Can someone attach a link for the stream of Kilcummin and rangers All upcoming matches are on this page - www.clubber.ie/sports/gaa/KerryGaa€10.99 looks steep enough a price for anyone buying the single game, considering it's not even knockout yet.

Legion I would agree on most except Desmonds - Desmonds finished the year badly whilst Mitchels had a good run to get promoted.

Stacks are 1/8 in the bookies. cant remember Ballydonoghues odds as was only looking at the favourites but they must be 8/1 or not far off. would be some shock

They lost to gneeveguilla first round last year, they then beat Beaufort when they were without Jason Foley putting them in pole position to top the group. A suffered a shock loss to Currow in the final game to finish last and into a relegation play off. The group finished Beaufort on top having beat Gneeveguilla and Currow. Gneeveguilla second having beat ballydonoghue and Currow. Ballydonoghue can have a very potent full forward line if they can supply them with ball however.

My prediction for this championship as a whole which is often almost impossible to predict is legion to win it they had a very solid county league an have added another strong to there bow upfront with William Shine. I do believe Stacks will be a small bit disappointing just because of the players they’re missing, but also it’s very rare a team comes down from senior and goes straight back up examples of Rathmore, legion and Kilcummin in last few seasons. An Ghaeltacht if they have everyone fit and ready are a serious outfit and would be my overall dark horses. The final last year probably came at a bad time with injuries but they still put in a good account of themselves. Beaufort have always been there at the business end of the championship in the last few years so have to be given a fair shout also. However, this is probably the hardest group they will have encountered with any of the 4 teams feeling they’ve a good chance of qualifying.

What is the record of teams in the Intermediate after winning the Junior Club All-Ireland?
I was thinking about Fossa but as I read some of the names of clubs above... this is a serious level of competition.

This is probably as competitive a championship there has ever been - Legion & Stacks vying for favouritism but the likes of Beaufort, Kilcummin & Gaeltacht will have a big say. I know league form is unpredictable but having seen Milltown/Castlemaine perform so well in Div 1 I would give them a fighting chance. Glenflesk are a good young side, Div 2 champions & had a comprehensive win over Laune Rangers in the play off a month ago. There will be many a twist & turn in this yet!!

Ardfert won all Ireland Junior and Intermediate titles in successive years, so they won the Kerry versions also in successive years. Templenoe and Finuge were beaten in the Kerry Intermediate finals the year after winning the all Ireland Junior titles. Maybe other teams have done it going back further than twenty years or so....

Paudie Clifford was worth the entry fee alone at Austin Stack Park this evening. Was the stand out player by an absolute country mile. An absolute joy to watch. An absolute nightmare to mark. An Gaeltacht couldn't lay a glove on him.
I'm not sure how many possessions he had only to say it was countless. One loose pass at the death is the only black mark. Everything else was pure sublime.

An Gaeltacht were not great when it came to the attack but credit is due to Fossa for this, well organised and busy defense.

Gaeltacht put up one of the worst shooting showcases ive seen in ages, fossa deserved the win fully, it was other players other than the Clifford's i was impressed with a few of them stood up They must have had at least 14 or 15 attempts that either went wide, hit the post or harmlessly into the goalies hands. What was clearly evident in the first half was their inability to get enough bodies forward to create handy scoring opportunities. Most of their shot selection were of the Hail Mary category, some of which did find the target. However that was never going to last and the wheels came off up front in the 2nd half. That said they were missing a couple of key forwards that would have made a massive difference. I thought they did a relatively fine job on David Clifford to be fair committing 2 and sometimes 3 lads on him at times. But there was no stopping Paudie. One of the purest displays of ball I've seen.

What role did Paudie play for Fossa?
The role he played last year for Fossa or the role he plays for Kerry?

What role did Paudie play for Fossa? The role he played last year for Fossa or the role he plays for Kerry? I suppose it was a bit of both Scaul. He literally covered every blade of grass from his own half back line to his half forward line, linking the play and making unbelievable bursts through the lines. His passing was simply top notch. As another poster said other players stood up for Fossa but it was Paudie that was making most of the graft and bringing them into it. A tour de force.
