Just like the minor championship, club teams were up against it in the under 21 championship. Only 2 wins by club teams, both against other clubs!

It's good to see a single North Kerry team is working well. How long I wonder be it happens at senior level?

How long I wonder be it happens at senior level? its senior the problem is at! underage NK teams are getting to alot of finals/semi finals in recent years and in general, doing very very well. how long before other teams complain of them being too strong?

It's already started, this year's minor team have a panel of 35 odd, of that 35 about ten or twelve are from last year's U15 team and at least seven of them will be starters this year at their weaker year. I envisage both the U21s and Minors will win but next years minors already look better, stronger and will have more county minors next year in my opinion. NK biggest challenge is internally, like most divisional side,

Ya, back there, first half was all EK but the northern boys really rallied in second half and in the 62nd minute they hit a goal for go one up but in fairness the. EK boys rallied to draw level.
In extra time NK lost their very influential midfielder Robert Stack and from there on in the they were up against it, Jack Kennedy stitched an early penalty Ita the start of extra time but they were finding scores very hard to come by, whereas EK appeared to get scores when needed more freely,
The best example of the difference was EK brought on fresh legs whereas NK were re-introducing players previously replaced. Two Minors Eddie Healy and Cormac Dillon played two and half matches in 24 hours p, hard going but both played very well, Healy in particular,
EK were the better team, but Kissane the referee won’t have many postcards from NK, one blatant strike was ignores and in extra time two very easy frees went against them, with time up NK had one final free, hard to know was this time relayed to the NK player but as he went short the whistle went…
I watch in anticipation to see how well Paul O’Shea would play….. I’ve great expectations in the Kilcummin man…., fairly anonymous.

A good exciting game I’m fairness, would have been nice to see NK pull it off but east kerrys strength in depth won it for them - Ruairi murphy, aaron o Shea and ryan o grady led the way for them ROBERT stack and Jack Kennelly superb for north Kerry while Goulding at 11 had a ten minute spell in the second half which resembled shane walsh, 4 outrageous scores
