Where is the venue for the Munster final? Kerry venue because it was in Mallow the last time Crokes and Nemo met in the final (2011).

It was only on in Mallow because the game originally scheduled for November 2010 in Limerick was twice postponed until Jan 2011 the following year due to frozen pitches. Crokes v UCC in 2011 was played in the Fitzgerald Stadium Crokes v Castlehaven in 2012 was played in PúC WOuld guess that as Nemo played their "home" game v Adare in Mallow, that it was their dress rehersal for the final there too.

Micheal Burns is thriving this year. Strange that Jordan Kiely isn't forcing his way into the first 15. Jordan forced his way into the 15 at the start of the year but unfortunately he has had a few injuries and lost his place due to that. He did not feature yesterday as he had a reoccurrence of an injury in the O Donoghue Cup last weekend against Kilcummin. Similarly, Micheal Burns struggled to break into the side but he has been outstanding for Crokes this year when he got his chance as a starter and has arguably been Crokes best player all year, he is so direct and has bundles of energy. With a fully fit squad, personally I would start Jordan but I think Pat O Shea realises the impact he can have coming from the bench when legs are tiring. Slaughtneil looked very impressive at times and their shooting was excellent. However, they did seem to be quite open at times and on another day Kilcar may have had 3 or 4 goals. This is uncharacteristic from this team as the first goal the only goal they conceded in the whole of the Championship (Derry, Ulster and All Ireland) was in the final versus Crokes. This Slaughtneil team are an admirable bunch of players hailing from a modest parish and not only competing but excelling at the top level for club footballers. They will have no trouble securing Ulster and a clash against Crokes/Nemo looks in store for them. Corofin looked sluggish and struggled to kill off a St Brigids side who have looked to have gone a fair bit back by all accounts. Corofin were not helped by the referee but some of their kicking and shot selection was very poor. I expect them to be much improved against Castlebar and I expect them to come through that with a few points to spare. Incredible achievement by Rathnew, they deserve some credit and I hope they can go further and win Leinster after that but that will be tough. Leinster is really up in the air and they will all probably fancy their chances. If I had to pick I might side with Lomans, who had a great comeback against Mullinaghta from Longford.

Crokes v Nemo set for Páirc Uí Rinn. Why not Stad de Franc, is the wifi post RWC bid not sorted yet or is this stroke politics ala tighter pitch neuter the Crokes?

The pitch for the two Cork County Football Finals played in Pairc ui Chaoimh was awful, almost impossible to bounce a ball on and players constantly slipping. The pitch in Pairc ui Rinn is plenty wide enough, the closeness of the stands make it feel tighter but it should suit the Crokes expansive game. Nemo will be a tough test but will be without both Tomas O Se and Cian McWhinney for the Munster final.

I really cant see anything but a relatively comfortable Crokes win- by 6-9 points

Is Larry Kavanagh of Nemo related to Joe & Derek? Joe's 1993 Final goal for Cork was a real gem but like all the scores of the losing side, it is generally forgotten about.

Point taken and inconsideration with the condition of the new sod at POC. Actually from what I've heard, the pitch was one of the few non-new things about Pairc ui Chaoimh. Looking at some of the photos from the redevelopment, the pitch and it's base was largely untouched.

Seriously, the pitch wasn't upgraded? Fake news Kerrygold. Those photos were taken during demolition and construction. They were hardly going to put a new pitch in while construction works on the stands and terrace still were on-going. It is a brand new pitch.

Have heard some mixed reports about the quality of the new PuC pitch - supposed to be a bit slippy - ok course it might just be teething problems, but still not the greatest.

Do new pitches take time to bed in or something. It was in bad shape for the two county finals from what I saw on TG4.
