Lispole came up short yesterday in the junior semi final, losing to the eventual champions Downings by 2-12 to 2-10. Lispole had lead by 9 points at one stage in the 1st half.
An Ghaeltacht had a hard earned win over An Rinn yesterday 1-13 to 0-13. Cian Ó Murchú with the winning goal.
It was always going to be a tougher test today against Donegal county champions Naomh Conaill. The Donegal lads edged it in the end 1-16 to 2-10. 2nd half goals by Sean Micheál Ó Conchúir and Eoin MacGearailt gave some hope but Naomh Conaill always looked to be in control.
Might have been a different story if the officials had done their job and sent off the Naomh Conaill number 2 whose closed fist left a nasty mark under Ó Conchúir's eye about 15 minutes in to the game. Probably no coincidence that it was Gaeltacht's main scoring threat that came in for this special treatment.

He is definitely not 31 and most likely 30. If 29 he is turning 30 imminently.

He is actually 32 and on the Kerry junior panel this year. He is not 32. Not a chance in hell. Well unless he was held back in school or something.

He's 29/30- he was in a mates class in college. Unless as Annascaul said- he had stayed back 2/3 years

Fair old operator anyway whatever age he is.
In the 3 games in Ballyvourney he got 2-6 against Ballingeary on Saturday, 0-8 against An Rinn and another goal and a few points in the final.
Captained Dingle Bay Rovers to win the KDL Premier A title on Friday evening as well I think, just to get the weekend rolling!
