Great to see Kerry teams winning 2 of the 3 Munster underage competitions over the weekend. This on top of last years minor win and this years team going well to date. Coaching structure really appears to be doing excellent work. After allowing standards to drop for a number of years our structure appears back on track

Hardly any 'south' Kerry young guys on the list, mainly east Kerry. Are things very tough down south at the moment?

Sean Bán doing great work with the SK U-16 squad; they were far too good for Waterford, Clare & Cork at the week end; Potts , Friel & Clifford should all be on the minor panel next year- think Jack would like to have Clifford this year but being under 16 makes him ineligible for minor inter county competition.

Sean is surely in the frame for the minor job as this years Kerry South panel will provide the majority of the minor panel in 2 years time and a few of next years panel.

Jamie Sullivan is only lad in South Kerry in it and he is so far ahead of everyone else down there it's scary

I think 12 of this years extended panel are under again next year - several omitted from nacrocaigh's 15 including Ferdia O Brien (Stacks), Karl Mullins (KOR), Michael Reidy (Ballymac), David Shaw (Crokes). But let's enjoy this years crop first.

I believe that Cormac Linnane has infortunately damaged his cruciate and will be out of football for up to 9 months- terrible blow for him personally.

I believe that Cormac Linnane has infortunately damaged his cruciate and will be out of football for up to 9 months- terrible blow for him personally. That is a shame. Cormac impressed me both against Cork and Tipperary. He will be missed. On the credit side of the ledger, Bryan Sweeney, after his unfortunate shoulder injury against Cork, looked lively and slick when he came on the last day. Assuming his injury has fully cleared up he will surely regain his place on the forty.

For god sake will ye get real! And Atleast make a realistic team.. Billy Courtney full forward? He will be in goal and no more about it! Bryan Sweeney who is good enough to start at No.11 this year is wing instead of a lad who is a natural wing back and can't start this year... I'd expect that there would be lads on the age that would be better than Patrick warren Niall o Donoghue and Donnacha o Sullivan.. But time will tell.. 1st well concentrate on 2015

Well done to the U17 development squad on two good wins last Saturday in Miltown in the annual Jeremiah Kerins tournament. Beat Cork in game 1 on a score of 2-15 to 1-09 and then defeated Galway by 5-10 to 1-09. Interesting to hear two of the leading candidates for Minor manager in 2016 were keeping a close eye on the games.

Kerry North under 15s had 2 fairly comfortable wins against Galway city and west and Galway county on saturday in Pearse Stadium aswell. Supposedly there is a very strong Kerry North team at under 15s so could be a few to watch on it- too young to name names at this stage though.
