Possibly Duagh to win it . Amazing to see how clubs like Moyvane and Ballylongford have struggled in recent years . Both with great history. Just being able to get 15 on the field is tough for some of these clubs . They deserve credit cause they are small clubs .

Yes Rangers B gone too - they are just going to play urban league this year - have been out of their depth for 2-3 years - were very competitive a number of years back - A team and B team playing the same day is tough on clubs

I for one don't understand why teams even bother having a B team playing in the senior league. If its to give younger players more games surely playing in the top division of the B league would serve them better

Well Rangers B won Div 5 and were in a playoff in 4 for promotion to 3 about 6 7 years ago - so up to the club for them to decide if they can sustain two teams or not. The small club siege mentality kicks in by thinking A players will tog with the Bs if the co board don't put the 2 games on the same day....but I've never heard Mike Frank or John Sheehan togging for the B team!! Same issue Crokes have now most likely

Rangers in Div 5 for prob 10 years I'd say - whenever they let B teams into the senior county league - as I said fairly early on they won Div 5 and lost in a promotion playoff the following year to get to Div 3

How long have B teams actually been playing in the senior leagues? There was a time when there was 3/4 of them in Div 5 and when it was Div 6

what the problem with b teams playing in the county league. big urban clubs always put out minor teams on their own. take the crokes minor team of 2014, how many of them will play week in week out for the senior team 2/3. putting out b teams and they will go to a level of their own standard. by right there should be promotion and regelation to the junior leagues.

I disagree. It makes no scene to have B teams playing in the senior leagues. Younger players from the likes of Crokes, Stacks etc would be much better off playing eachother in Div 1 of the B league

I see over the weekend that Tuosist had a good win over Ballylongford. I think this is the first time they've won a game in any competition in well over a year.

Possibly Duagh to win it . Amazing to see how clubs like Moyvane and Ballylongford have struggled in recent years . Both with great history. Just being able to get 15 on the field is tough for some of these clubs . They deserve credit cause they are small clubs . The three promoted teams in Division 5 are Renard, Moyvane & Valentia and all that is to be decided is who goes up to Division 4 as champions. After today's games Moyvane and Renard share top spot on 18 points with Valentia a point behind. The issue of champions of the Division will have to be decided on a playoff. Duagh conceded game this weekend not good for a big club like them! 3 teams gone up deserve to go up i would think. Valentia played my gang wasnt at it but just heard score goals win games
