What does anyone think of the article in yesterdays Mail on Sunday where Paul Galvin said that yesterday's game may have been his last in the Kerry jersey. I've been very critical of him this year - quick temper and all that but at this stage I think it's more a case of "give a dog a bad name". He didnt look very happy when taken off yesterday but it would have been awful if he'd been sent off. Unfortunately I didnt get to see him with Sam yesterday as I was on Premium level, the picture on todays Indo says more than a thousand words. Hope takes time to think about things and doesnt make any rash decisions on his future as he would be a great loss to any team.

;D Oh Dread the thought. I would not want to see Paul step aside. His intensity and desire could not easily be replaced. He is an integral part of the first 15. If there is another player with the same traits around the county, get him into training over the winter!

If Paul does decide to go... he does so with his head held high. he is a pure gentleman...once he puts on a Lixnaw/Finuge or Kerry jersey he is transformed by passion. He epitomises what it is to be from Kerry.... and any person who castigates him... they are only fecking jealous... Saw Mike Mac and Eamon Fitz at the game on Sunday and my heart went out to them... if right was right they should have been out on the field of play...

Paul is going no where thank God
We need him for the next lap and before 2008 is out there will be no debating that.
Dont change Paul and dont let them grind you down boy.

Certainly Mike Mac could have been if he wanted and I'm pretty sure Eamon could have been involved with the panel too.

I saw a t-shirt before the game on Sunday with "Saint?..Sinner?" a picture of Paul underneath and "Legend" under his picture, I thought that sumed up what most Kerry people think of him, a Legend..

Paul jumping up on the table on the Hogan stand to lift the cup was just fantastic!! it epitomises who he is and that he doesnt give a s**t once he's winning matches for his county!he's such a proud kerryman and if anyone heard weeshie praising him on how passionately and eloquently he spoke monday evening will know what i mean. he lives for his club, county jersey and family and he's going nowhere, and i wouldnt be surprised if he's already plotting the route to Sam for 2008!!!
PS. also saw that shirt on sunday "Saint? Sinner? LEGEND!!" - Excellent! We should ship a few up to cork!!
