mickey linden,greg blaney were as good as anything else from that era if not better. I suppose the fact that they were at their peak from 1990 - 1995 meant that they were only a presense for only 2 of the relevant years for the selection (1993 onwards) and this cost them any chance. Linden was a class act alright.

the Down, Donegal and Derry teams of the early to mid 90's would have a cse for a few inclusions but its hard to argue really with that 15

Seems strange that there are six leinster players and three each from the other provinces.

maybe the fact that the team of the 90s did not include gooch is because no one saw him till the naughties......
