10 euro is a tiny payback for the enjoyment these lads give us,we shouldnt even be discussing it. A minor price to pay I agree....

excuse my ignorance, but how do I get some raffle tickets. I wont be getting my ticket through the county board but would be interested in contributing anyway. As noted on kerry.gaa.ie/intercounty/2007/senfoot/final2007/events.htmRaffle tickets can be bought by sending your Name, Address & Phone Number together with Cheque or Postal Order to cover the cost of raffle ticket(s) to: - Éamon O’Sullivan, Rúnaí, P.O. Box 125, The Pavilion, Austin Stack Park, Tralee, Co. Kerry

400,000 raised according to reports!!
Kingdom in the money 16 September 2007
Kerry GAA has raked in an estimated 400,000 euros over the last three weeks thanks to sponsorship, funding from Croke Park, golf classics and corporate dinners plus raffles.
The county will have spent around one million euros by the end of this year in the preparation of their county teams though.
“We will spend roughly one million euros preparing our teams,” explained Kerry Chairman Sean Walsh.
“There will be 400,000 euros spent on the senior team this year on its own. Obviously there are returns from Croke Park for overnights and travel and for the All-Ireland final weekend and all of that, but it doesn’t make up the short fall.
“That’s why this week alone we have a golf classic, a corporate dinner, we are selling cars and have raffles and the supporters clubs are selling cars.”

As you say scout a lot of soreheads. ya, id say most are en route to the kingdom this morning, with very sore heads. those of us based around the pale had to go to work this morning after a late night in town. great kerry atmosephere during the sunday game in flannerys anyway last night. it will be tomorrow before tis place kicks off again! its also noticable that nobody was online during the game at all yesterday!!!

At Dublin airport en route to the Kingdom with the mother of all hangovers.
There is serious disease in this man - time for the cure.
Dinner dance doo quieter than other years - they need to avoid Citywest in future to be honest.
Funnily enough the biggest cheer of the night was for Jack O'Shea when he was invited on stage!!

Thought the City West was a great venue. Big crowd but the room was so big no one was uncomfortable. Great athmosphere and very handy to have a room in the place as there was no worries about taxis. One thing though, it was impossible to find the bloody bedrooms!!!!!!!!

Very few of the players seemed to be around in the main room - only 5 or 6 of the starting 15 I'd say. Most of them appeared on stage alright but disappeared after that. A few brave Cork people were at it as well. I'm not sure about the idea of JackO going on stage when the team are being brought out as has happened for the last 2 years. It kind of stands on the toes of the current team.

much better venue then last year. took a while for the place to fill up but there was a way more comfort.no mad queues anywhere. a lot more of the players came into the function room as well and those i was talking to said that they preferred it to last years venue.no problem getting taxi out of there either.
