I was hoping I wouildn't be asked that ! I've had a feeling Dublin would do it for a good while this year. I think it's their year - If they don't win it this year someone will be hung Dublin are the strongest and fittest team I have ever seen and they play nice stuff (when they decide to play). I think it really depends on how the Kerry backs handle the switching forwards - I imagine that M O'Se & A O'Mahony will be well able for it but Tom Sullivan and a few others could be in deep sh1t ! Then again - Cooper at the other side and the big lad will take a bit of work to keep quiet. Can't wait to see Wheelan & D O'Se - there'll be a few loose elbows and boots flying I'm sure ! Ah, I suppose if I had to put a bet on it (which I have with a mate up here) I'd go for Dublin. I just think its their year !

Tom O Sullivan will play a blinder sunday, he's been a top defender for the last few years and people shouldn't be writing him off after one or two average performances.id be expecting him to be a leader in defence the next day and i doubt he won't deliver.

And last year it was Mayo's year. Every year we hear its so and so's year. My humble opinion thats a load bullsh*t. It was meant to be Waterfords year this year as well. Dumped on there arses because, anybody??? they didnt play well on the day. Thats what it will come down to. If Kerry start slow and dublin leave em early then its bye bye. If Kerry come out and stand up, all before and after will fall.

There's no room for sentiment, these things have to be earned, on the day

Sentiment, history and sense of predestination are things that can bog down a team. Look at last years final. From the majority of papers it was as if it was fixed in the heavens for Mayo finally to deliver Sam. I believe some of there players believed the hype. 9 mins after throw in and it was all over. Kicking the ball over the bar and in the back of the net is all that counts. The rest is just nonsense to sell papers.

Maybe its just me then - I don't rate him at all but I'm sure he won't loose any sleep over that

Tom O'Sullivan is an outstanding defender but he was consistently good in the corner, not so at full back. Sunday he will want to prove himself. Here's hoping he does.

its a tough 1 to call rashers and i know i bigged up da dubs in a previous thread (tounge firmly planted in cheek) but now i like dermot think its the dubs year, they seem to be getting the breaks this year and their as big and strong as any team in the country.I think a lot will depend on wheelo in mid field and on the vaughn's free taking, again i agree with dermot it will depend on how the kerry backs cope with the dubs front line as this has been kerry's achillies heel this year.I to am giong for the dubs,i think its theirs to lose, sorry lads but i have to call it as i see it but its going to be close

as said in the thin lizzy song "the battles over the war is won"the last of ur challenges should be an easy 1, i just cant see cork doin it in the wide open space that is croker.it should stay close but i think the last 15 will be when u put the rebs to bed,1 word of warnig though complacity could cost ya but the fact t the first munster all ireland and the braggin rites that wll give should put fire in ur bellies.kerry by 5
