Iv been hearing quiet a few disturbing stories in relation to the dubs attitude towards opposing team fans in the hill. Just wanted to get a few peoples opinion on the matter.

Stand at the very back of the hill. If you stand down the front, you become a nice target for Coins, liquids etc etc.

Should be good banter in the hill. For the most part the Dub fans are a good craic. This should be a classic match up even between the fans, Just like kerryeye said shout your heads off. Ciarrai abu

I'd be more afraid of someone with a Celtic jersey than a Dublin GAA jersey on the hill....should I have just said that!!!

We're all on the hill for sunday.I presume that Kerry and minors will have one section. The majority of Dubs are grand but there's always a few.Few Dubs told me there's been a few rows between opposing factions of soccer supporting DUbs (Bohemians and Shamrock Rvrs).

Not necessarily so Mick, there's a few idiots get some from club-members too. Anyway, the only place where there's been trouble is down the bottom behind the goal, with some ignorant little scuts throwing bottles, coins etc. Avoid this area and you will be grand. Wear your green & gold with pride, and you will have a great day, with all the banter, and plenty of atmosphere. Hope I meet some of you there...............if I can get a ticket like you all did! I tend to stand in the "corner", looking across the pitch diagonally, about 2 thirds way up from the bottom

Well done & fair play to all the Kerry fans on The Hill yesterday, it was great, and I mean GREAT, to see yis there, and anybody who says anything else hasnt a clue about one major reason why gaelic games are such wonderful occasions To the morons who gave unwarranted personal abuse & intimidation - I've no time for yis, but then yis were told where to go in no uncertain terms by your own supporters who form the vast majority. And I know well that every county has it's share of idiots & hot-heads. Incredible atmosphere, incredible occasion yesterday, and overall, a wonderful day, with the mixing of supporters, the fun & banter & singing. And great to see so much kerry support yesterday!

Was any Kerry person from this forum on the Hill yesterday or know of anyone who was? Surely at least some of the Kerry people made it out alive! It was funny the way the Kerry sections near Hill 16 in the Cusack stand and the Hogan Stand all stood up taunting the Dubs on the Hill near the end.

Kerry supporter in the Hill yest. Must say thought it was insightful for the Dublin supporters roaring Hill 16 Dublin only. Although they do have a point but for the few Kerry supporters who ventured along to the Hill with myself it was intimidating. must point out that there were amajority of sound supporters however I didn't appreciate the violent behaviour from a certain few who were downing naggins of whickey and vodka. At one point I asked where was the Hill when KERRY RACED INTO A 3PT LEAD only to be responded with 'whatt I bleadin loaf you' I could inform the man that I had plenty of bread at home. In fairness he jus laughed it off after a while. But things could of boiled over on a number of occassions.
HILL 16 KERRY'S FAVORITE SCORING POINT

The idiots & gobs****s werent only on the Hill - a fair few in Lower Hogan 330 - very intimidating at times. The guys in the 2 rows in front of me seemed to think they were on the hill as they wouldn't sit down and whenever asked to do so they replied in not a pleasant manner. A few drunken idiots and bandwagoneers in front of me with shouts of "we're going to war" and kill the f*****s didnt help the ambience. I have to say though that I enjoyed the game and was still buzzing when I got home.

Every county has their share of "boo boys" and "boo girls" too. Majority of Dublin fans i met were up for hop ball more than nasty comments. That being said I didn't apreciate the actions of a few in front of me whose gestures when both Darragh and Paul went off were totally unacceptable.

I was on the hill yesterday and it was electric. There was the usual "Hill 16 is Dublin only" but most fans were grand. There was a few Kerry supporters that didn't cover themselves in glory by booing but they were young and immature.

I was wondering where the voice of maturity had gone to that is "Hoffster".. welcome back!! All in all heard great reports about atmosphere in the Hill.. your always going to have a few muppets up The Hill but definitely the minority... usually the ones who don't even know "Jayooo's" second name!!

There were a group of Kerry supporters all bedecked in the green and gold positioned lower down in the centre of the Hill right behind the goals. I noticed them because they were there for the start of the minor match when the Hill was virtually empty. I must say that I couldn't help thinking that they were mad to position themselves there!
By the time the senior game started they were engulfed in a sea of blue. I would love to know how these hardy crew got on.
