He'll (Cluxton) still get an all star, no matter he does. You're like a scratched record this week, good tactic though It's not a tactic at all, just an observation. Doctors differ, patients die and all that...

Soft options Abue, you're good at telling them what they want to hear ;D Surprisingly enough, us Cork people come with a mind of our own... Didn't one of them get all hot and bothered cos I didn't say I would like from 1-15 of Kerry in the Cork team.

This is one area that I would be seriously worried about against Cork. Their midfield is arguably the strongest in the country and Darragh hasn't exactly been flying this year so I hope that our kickouts will be worked on over the next couple of weeks.

He had an excellent game against the afforementioned opposition in the Munster Final.
All this talk about Murphy being the best midfielder in the country will rise him again no end.

FatTom, do you mean it will increase Murphy's confidence, or are you suggesting he will get a swelled head? If it is the last one, that couldn't happen cos he's a very down to earth lad.

No according to Jack O'Connor's book all the talk about Murphy being this and that last year made Darragh rise his game when they met.
Darragh's displays against Armagh and Cork last year were awesome.

Depends if you look at the Cork v Kerry match from a Cork or Kerry perspective I suppose.... We better go back to discussing using the head of kick-outs as that's what this topic is meant to be about.

asking murphy to try short kick outs and playing the wing more could be like teaching an old dog new tricks because it could cause more harm than good if he's not used to it.
