Thanks a million for the directions Wayup......spot on. Very sad in Antrim town to have to take a detour as the road to Glenavy was closed due to the horrific murders at the Massereene barracks on that road.
Great home supporters in Derry, made me feel most welcome - and indeed, the Elk was a good spot to stop off before the game!!
Nice photo Sully - suspect you indeed had the first photo......oh, and eh, were any of ye on the supporters bus? What time did ye get home? There was much debate where I was standing......

Made the trip up North, great wkend....worth the long drive......got back to cork at 11! It was up there with one of the coldest days watching a match! Thou it wasnt a classic it was great to see Kerry win working hard for it. Great also to see the 6 Kerry subs get a chance, Jack is being true to his word and giving everyone game time, fair play. Thank god their playing this wkend again, that 3 wk break was way too long.....didnt know what to do with myself:)!!!!

Flew up on the Saturday. The Derry fans we met Saturday night were fantastic, knew so much about Kerry down through the years. A great welcome was given in the club house too. The soup was very much appreciated!!! A great weekend in all except for the turbulance on the flight from Derry to Dublin, it was lucky there wasn't much time for alcoholic beverages before the flight Dublin to Farrenfore was much more comfortable. Kerry team were on the same flight so i knew i was safe.

1500 calories if you had the full extra large bigmac meal.Hope you walked the required 9.5 miles to burn it off.We wont count the calories for the pints on Saturday night or you'll be walking to Tralee for the Mayo game!

I'm afraid we will. We're the top team in the country and therefore are watched much closer than anyone else. Hardly seems fair but the higher up you are the more you get to deal with that. In Flemish they'd say: High trees catch more wind.

It was a joke but what can we do about that? Request the 2000 fine back we got after the Tyrone game? The new rules are as ambiguous as always so a lot more people will be send off this year. Not just Kerrymen but from all counties. Are we all going to contest every yellow now???

Holy Mary, mother of God indeed ;D It's bad enough for us but we have always been the team everybody watches. Part of the curse of being successful.
