One can only hope that the terracetalk website data can somehow be saved and merged into an ongoing Kerry GAA Results site/forum or whatever. As an aside, there are no positional changes in the Top 10 Championship scorers after two games, but a few changes are imminent. Here is the current (6 May 2024) status, with goals and points combined: 1 Colm Cooper 352 total points 2 Mike Sheehy 293 3 Maurice Fitzgerald 240 4 Sean O'Shea 206 5 Dara O'Cinneide 183 6 tie Pat Spillane and Bryan Sheehan both with 179 8 Paul Geaney 178 9 David Clifford 175 10 Mike Frank Russell 154 I would not hold my breath on any merger with terracetalk website. There’s no drive or initiative in current PR & Marketing in county board - there are no match reports being submitted currently - it was required a few years ago that home PROs submit reports - this has ceased. Most club PROs post now to their own websites - county board are way out of touch on this issue. The county PRO held a zoom call with PROs at the beginning of last year to get their views on match reports - she undertook to do a survey of all clubs as not all clubs were represented on the night - that survey never took place !! As I said before no money in it for the CB to do anything with the Terrace Talk website. When it comes to clubs everything just seems to be a box ticking thing for the CB. Until of course it comes to county final days then they're very interested all of a sudden.

What a joke of a fixtures/results section on the Kerry GAA website. On my laptop I have data loading since 5pm but nothing loaded. Again it seems to have Sundayitis. I wonder when does the media section think we need to access results and tables. WELL ITS MOSTLY SUNDAY AFTERNOON. If you cant do it get off the pot.

It really is appalling, impossible to see the remaining county league fixtures and if you are on a phone forget about it as you cant read the table. The clubs pay plenty money in affiliation fees etc every year to the cb, you would think a functioning results/fixtures page would be the least they could do......

It should be no big deal. I wonder what company has the hosting of this section. Its all cluttered and overloaded with under age and educational fixtures and badly planned. This is fine and by all means have Coiste and Educational fixtures/results but sub divide these results into sections where they may be easily accessed and avoid cluttering.Have a Coiste na nOg and an educationl section with links and then you wont have to go through 100s of results. As for Sunday evening - you would be faster driving around to all the clubs to get their results. Also many clubs have also great twitter and facebook pages with links to County Board. Fair dues to radiokerrysport. All the results and tables were updated yesterday Sunday.

Why would I go to posts when there a link above post saying results and fixtures.
So ye are admiting to putting up wrong informations on the fixture and results page that’s a good start. And it’s also saying no information.
I can’t wait to be looking for the results over the weekend 🙄 Oh wait we will wait for Instagram post on Monday. 😂

I understand your point. I'm not "admiring" anything on the website, but there is some small effort at improving things. The block of results might be posted by midweek if previous weeks are anything to go by, but I wouldn't be too certain of the "Fixtures" tab updating over the weekend.
I share your frustration...and I am not involved with the website in any way.

This was pointed out a number of years ago and continues to be the same way. With the old Pro team at least the final results of senior county league games use to be retweeted on the now called “X”.
Its a complete mined field now. Standards across the board have dropped.

I've said it before on here, the county board need to nail the colours to the mast and once and for all decide if Tralee or Killarney will house the Kerry Gaa Museum, then I would allow the museum clerk govern the site

It’s beyond farce at this stage - there are 5 county league games listed for Div 1 - two of them , Crokes/Legion & Kilcummin/Ballymac are both listed for tonight June 1st @ 7.30 pm - both were played LAST NIGHT!!
Any changes to fixtures, as per the Eolaire & endorsed by the CCCC have to be approved by 5 pm the Monday preceding the fixture.
This is on the PRO - nobody else.

Call me old school (not pen and paper old mind you) but having the information on the website in a timely fashion is important for me - I don't want to be continually signing up to the latest fad in Facebook, Twitter/X, instagram, clubzap (or whatever that weeks fashionable app is) etc etc. I just want one reliable place I can go to so I can stay in touch with results and fixtures in a timely fashion - hell I might be able to go to a game or two because I know when and where to go.

Round 10 scheduled for next weekend 9 June;
Round 11, the final round, scheduled for 23 June.
Variations in dates/times/venues might happen, plus there are a few back games that must be scheduled as well.

Also they use to retweet final county league results on Twitter I see they stopped doing this as well? What do ye think? always very slow i find so poor compared to other counties

The website really is a mess. Can’t get into it if there’s any bit of changing going on in it. No way of looking back at results in a specific division. In this day and age it really is unacceptable

The website really is a mess. Can’t get into it if there’s any bit of changing going on in it. No way of looking back at results in a specific division. In this day and age it really is unacceptable Apart from the obvious problem of it not actually working at all when people most need it, the thing that bugs me the most with the fixtures/results page is this limitation of only displaying the last 10 results in all competitions/age groups/hurling/football all combined. Surely that must be an easy adjustment of some formula or setting and yet it's been like this for at least a year.

Since Kerry did not qualify for the All-Ireland Senior Football Final, the following is the list of fixtures per Eolaire 2024, which was published earlier in the year and is available to download from the website:
Sat July 27: Club Championship Rd 1; Senior Hurling Championship Semi-finals Sun July 28: SFL Rd 11/Playoff
Sun Aug 4: Club Championship Rd 1; Senior Hurling Championship Final Sun Aug 11: Club Championship Rd 1 & 2 Sun Aug 18: Club Championship Rd 2 & 3 Sun Aug 25: Club Championship Rd 3 & Quarter-finals
Sun Sept 1: Club Championship Quarter-finals Sun Sept 8: SFC Rd 1 Sun Sept 15: SFC Rd 2 Sun Sept 22: SFC Rd 3
Sun Oct 6: SFC Quarter-finals Sun Oct 13: SFC Semi-finals Sun Oct 27: SFC Final
Munster Club Football: Quarter-finals Nov 9/10, Semi-finals Nov 23/24, Final Dec 8 Munster Club Hurling: Quarter-finals Nov 2/3, Semi-finals Nov 16/17, Final Dec 1
My notes on the above:
NOTE 1: Club Semi-finals and Finals not scheduled, but must have a winner for Munster Club competition Nov 9/10.
NOTE 2: When a Munster County play in the All-Ireland Final, that county’s clubs usually get a bye to the provincial club semi-finals. So, no byes for Kerry football clubs, and Clare and Cork hurling club winners are in the semi-final.
NOTE 3: District Board games may commence Sun Oct 6 and can continue till Sun Dec 1.

The senior club championship starting this weekend is scheduled to finish with the final on 31/08 or 01/09. Likewise, the intermediate championship will continue weekly to the semi finals, 5 games in total, 3 qualifiers plus 1/4 & semi final up to Aug 24/25 with a two week break to the final on Sept 7/8th.

Credit where due, the new look results section on the website looks a fine job. No more nil nil draws when one team concedes which always looked a bit daft.

They have included the Corn UiMhuiri, Harty Cup and other schools fixtures and tables as well, a most welcome development. The revamp is a positive step, now if their twitter feed would cover more games if only retweeting club posts so we can follow along with out having to jump from one page to another.
