Is young Coolahan who starred with Tarbert Comprehensive overage? There are two, John is the older, and played up front for the Comp, he was man of the match in the schools final, he is overage for Minor, As far as I am aware the younger brother Micheal was in with the minor panel, but was cut at the previous culling along with his clubmate Stack.

Tralee and North of it well represented, half the panel by my count. Not one player from South Kerry Division which is quite sad to see.

It is very sad but unfortunately no surprise with the lack of population. As much as Kerry teams need a few tough lads from North Kerry, we also need the finesse of a south Kerry player. They had a great nursery with Colaiste na Sceilige but you need numbers. Hopefully with WFH and our cities becoming more crime infested there is greater incentive for young families to live in rural areas.

The North Kerry lads will love you for that 🙂 The coaching and games development at national school level and above,in North Kerry over the last number of years has been brilliant. John Dillon driving it. They're getting the numbers on Kerry underage panels now as a result

I just hope the new incumbent pushes it on another level, but the Duagh man will be missed.

Would it not have been possible to arrange the Kerry v Cork minor & U20 matches as a double header on maybe Saturday!
Seems wrong to have these 2 matches, same counties taking part, on consecutive evenings in the same pitch!

I notice this Ryan O’Driscoll is not on the match day panel for the next night. Injured? He and 1 or 2 others who would also be expected starters have just returned after missing a lot of football through injury. I feel there’s an element of holding back a little when it’s so likely we’ll be meeting Cork again in the final.
