One thing that hasn't been mentioned is David Clifford will he be fit/risked after hurting his ankle against clare?
If he is missing who do you play in there geaney, spillane Sean o Shea? Maybe even tommy walsh I feel tommy will make a big impact this year somewhere along the way...

Which will probably mean Seanie will play outside if Killian Spillane is the one to come in.

I hope the team announced will be as close as possible to the last two teams. There are some very good players not starting but the emphasis now must be on building a team that plays like a well oiled machine. One example is Mike Breen who as a young player must get all the chances available for his role to become second nature to him.

Thank you, Is it a big issue or will he be ok? Believe that he broke/fractured a finger in training - could be out for 4/5 weeks.

The game Sunday for me is getting as much game time into as many players as possible, ahead of cork game and an all ireland semi final, I hope we don't waste the opportunity. Good to see Shane Ryan get a run in goal, let his performance this weekend help Keane make up his mind on goalie for munster final. The forward changes make no difference really , you expect killian n tommy n others on early for a good work out ahead of cork.

They are all there, well apart from unavailables - hard to comment if only because nobody apart from management has seen 'em in the flesh, and also I sense we are playing a long game here, i.e. there is only one objective.
As MOM said, we are hoping it will be a long year, 'til 29th of August, agus go mbeidh áthas orainn ag deireadh lae.
Quote of the day/ Athfhriotail an lae - Is fearr Gaeilge briste, ná Béarla clíste, agus buíochas le Dia for that, otherwise my straying behind the iron curtin into Choice Dhaoine mightn't be ró-shláintiúil.
Hey just got a brainwave, a tonn inchinn?, now I am only the messenger, an teachtaire, albeit of fear mór - MOM says that ideally we should be educated as Gaeilge and see an Bearla as a commercial advantage, i.e. it is really the global work/business language, and increasingly so and if you think it through you will see we are blessed in this respect.
So why don't we comhrá as Gaeilge anseo?, was it braic-Gaeilge MOM termed it, bit of both, hybrid, blended, cúpla focail! I am as rusty as anyone, well obviously, why didn't we think of it before? I have looked at this from other angles and yes, it does amazing things for stimulating ones creativity.
Now, any seconders?
Go n-éirí an bóthar linn trathnona amarach a chairde agus tá súil agam go n-ardóimid díon Ardan Ui Ogain i Lúnasa.

Cork were awful today, lacking seriously up front, also was surprised they had a few fellas going down with cramp, they must have missed their beach runs from February. We know it will be a derby match on July 25th, but really struggling to see how they will improve in 2 weeks.
Anyway bring on Tipp.

A win is a win but not clinical enough Spillane pure scoring prowess Game not testing us enough Ulster folk say we have it easy in Munster but easy games are a disadvantage Morley just having hard luck need to shake that off we’ll need him down the road

Totally in control without having to go up the gears..a final in Killarney is always a big day,a crowd of 5000 will be easily achieved, such a pity more may not be allowed attend!!

Very disappointed by Kerry's game management during the 10 minutes Tipp were down to 13 men. Only 1 point scored in 10 minutes in the final quarter when the opposition is tiring while 15 v 13 just isn't good enough.
Now maybe I have high standards for the team but if that was an AI final or a tight match, that's the moment you really need to capitalize on to see out and finish off the game.

Agree on the ten minutes Tipp were down to 13, we should have done better for sure, it’s an area we can improve, mentally focused especially when opportunities like Tipp gave us with 13 men. Anyway some great scores some great inter play between the team, still work to do ahead of cork, but in a great place. Well done kerry today 👍🏻👏

To be fair, think Kerry were just going through the motions in the 2nd half - job was done, avoid injuries/suspensions. Paudie Clifford a serious addition to the team, Killian Spillane has to start vs Cork - very threatening.

Much happier with that performance than the Clare game.
Backs did very well on quality players like Quinlivan.
For me the 3 players that are most influential at the minute are P Clifford, White and OShea.
Seanie is footballer of the year material IF he keeps this up.

While Spillane is defo worth a starting spot ahead of Geaney or Stephen, I feel he will appear from 45 mins in all our games as we have no other banker scoring threat off the bench. T Brosnan will become that man. I dont see Geaney playing next year - I know he is young'ish but the legs are going. Finally, Stephen O'Brien spoiled a brilliant team move with what can only be described as a very typical Stephen O'Brien goal attempt - straight at the keeper at a perfectly saveable height. He has done this far too often for my liking but a first world Kerry GAA problem relatively speaking of course.

Yes that should not be a hard fix for Stephen But agreed has done that too often now with a man wide open at back post Another tweak there badly needed

I can understand this sentiment but Tipp shut up shop bigtime and seemed content to limit the damage Kerry could inflict - the entire 13 remaining players were inside the Tipp 45 and worked hard giving little space. Shane Ryan was on the Kerry 45 standing all alone at times. Kerry played controlled football and did not go for the jugular in this period as it was a done deal anyway. Games are coming thick and fast and a knock or minor injury could see a lad miss crucial games. Was at the game and it was great to be at a live event, lovely warm evening and a great pitch - Kerry were in control throughout and focussed on the game.

You have to add David C to that trio - I had a perfect view of his goal from behind & in fairness it was a brilliant finish - he got no protection either from the officials & his booking was a joke.

The Tipp half was fairly crowded for the whole game. They provided very poor opposition. You would think that if you go 8 points down playing with 14 men in your own half you might try something different. If nothing but to make the score a bit more respectable.
Positive for me was Tom O Sullivan being more prominent throughout.
It wasn't a great game but it was great to get back inside a stadium.
The only fright we got was each time there was an announcement over the loudspeaker. The announcer must be used to competing with noisy crowds. My ear drums nearly burst.

Solid performance - on to next step. I must say the Sky commentary was very good. Jesus Jim and Donaghy good partnership in the studio, and God vert concise and intuitive on the video analysis.
Agree re Stephen - he has done this many times over the years - perfect height for goalie. This could be the difference between winning and losing a game later on as the goal chances will become scarcer. Simple solution here fortunately - bring in the Gooch for training on how to take a goal....the best ever at that skill. He almost always rolled it along the grass or roofed it. We need to be able to take these chances - learn from the master.
