The format and dates for the Credit Union County Football League 2021 have been published on the main site.
Six teams in each Division, with the old divisions split into A and B sections, plus Division 6 having A, B and C sections.
Top team in each section contest the Final.
Promotion from Divisions 2-5 (three teams) will be the top team from each section, plus the winner of a play-off between the second placed teams in each section.
Relegation from Division 1-4 (three teams) will be the bottom team from each section, plus the loser of a play-off between the fifth placed teams in each section.
Relegation from Division 5 (one team) to Division 6A will be the loser of a play-off game between the bottom team in each section.
In Division 6, one team will be promoted from 6A to Division 5, one from 6B to 6A and one from 6C to 6B. Top team in each section will play-off for promotion in each case. One team will be relegated from 6A to 6B and from 6B to 6C. In both cases, the bottom team in each section will play-off.
The 5 weekends set to hold the 2021 County League are: June 12/13, June 19/20, July 3/4, July 17/18 and July 31/Aug 1.
As a reminder, Kerry’s Munster Senior Championship starts v Clare in Killarney on June 26. The winner of that clash meets Tipperary in the semi-final on July 10, with the Munster Final set for July 25. Both All-Ireland football semi-finals are set for August 14 and 15, with Munster v Ulster and Connacht v Leinster. The All-Ireland football final will be held on August 28/29.

If all goes well for the county it would look like the county players will miss the entire league - regrettable but understandable in the circumstances. It does however bring the promotion/relegation topic into focus and I am not convinced about promotions and relegations in a truncated season.
Hopefully we will get to some of these games in person - I think the latest leaks about opening up suggest the last two rounds may have limited numbers of spectators.
Well done to all who are endeavouring to get sport back up and running.

This is the most unloved county league season on record! The lack of attention is surprising after we were all deprived of football for so long. I don't think I like the new structure, hopefully they revert to one league table for each division instead of the A and B sub divisions.

I’d say savage could get in for the league next year maybe if he has a good championship had a great game agaisnt legion last year but got knocked out too early to have a amazing championship. and Coffey is a club standard player not a county in my opinion

Final round of games in the county leagues scheduled for this weekend - no team seems guaranteed a final place across the divisions but some teams cannot avoid relegation. Could be an interesting weekend of results - when are the finals scheduled for? Competition to date has been without intercounty players - will they be available for finals and relegation playoffs?

Crokes drew with Spa leaving the door open for Dingle to join them on 7 points at the top of Division 1A - if both end on 7 points how are they separated? Play off, head to head result or points difference?

Play off, head to head result or points difference? I doubt there will be playoffs. So most likely head to head, then points difference, then goals scored.

Divisional Final Pairings look to be Div 1 - Dingle V Rahillys Div 2 - St Marys's V Ballymac Div 3 - Listowel V Laune Rangers Div 4 - Firies V Renard Div 5 - Stacks V Cordal
Finals along with promotion and relegation playoffs remain to be played
Not sure if there are finals in Div 6 but think there are playoffs also
No date for these games fixed in the schedule that was released in May but the talk seems to be the games may be next weekend.

Limit is 500 in stadia that hold more than 5k unless the event is authorised by the department of sport for a higher attendance. They have only done this for senior intercounty matches.

Because, obviously, the higher the standard of football being played, the less risk of spectators catching Covid. It's science, innit?
