i watched the video of the draw.
At about the 1.35 mark he says because they are been goverened by the county CCC, and today ''they'' decided that Brosna and Ballyduff should be the two teams that would have the byes.
Are all divisional board competions goverened by the county CCC every year or is it just this year. How did the county CCC decide who got the byes.
Why did they need to get involved in such a small part of the draw process. The first two out of the hat/cup or the last two could have got the byes.

I am guessing that since Ballyduff will be playing hurling on 5.9.2020, Ballyduff and one other got a bye.
Maybe the one other was drawn out of the hat.
Just guessing here now.

Yes plans are in place to live stream certain games where possible. This will have greater significance now after this afternoon’s announcement which means no supporters will be allowed up to and including 13th September. This is a great pity considering the huge attendances that the Championship attracts but people have to stay safe and we have to look after our elderly and those who are not lucky enough to be as healthy as they’d wish. www.rte.ie/sport/gaa/2020/0818/1159881-all-sporting-events-set-to-be-behind-closed-doors/

I seem to recall they were beaten by Listowel a few years back but they havent seemed to make a massive effort in recent years They haven't done great in recent years but they should have a say this year given that it's falling at a time when there is no big break from Co. League to the first game. They are playing good football at the moment having a very good championship and have a lot of players going well. They are also the only intermediate team in it this year.

Predictions Ballydonoghue to edge this one overall but ET very possible. Thats tech a draw with the bookies. Finuge fav going on Desmonds previous efforts away from home so given the home advantage finuge +, lack of a home crowd roaring them on Desmond +, strangest year yet Desmond +, form is v good from both but Desmonds at a higher level. Desmond by 4 points. This will gaul me as Desmonds effort in past 10 years is pathetic to say the least. Moyvane v knock. Knock based on co junior and they were going well early in the year. Home venue still very relevant however moyvane dont seem to have that hard edge at senior level at the moment. Verdict is knock. Beale v senans. Everyone loves a chance to knock out the champions. Beale always hard to beat at home. Form in co junior was average though. Senans given the nod but only just (would not put my hard earned cash on it though) Tarbert v asdee. Tarbert (if tarbert can get a run they have a nice team) Bally v duagh. Duagh (they expect to go very close this year but this it's a diff story backing up the expectations.)

Anyone looking for a warm up to Ballydonoghue batin the livin daylights out of Listowel at 7pm on Sat could tune into Examiner Sport FOC at 4pm and witness Ballydonoghue's Colm O'Connor O'Hehiring or is Ó Muircheartaighing the Knocknagree v Cill na Martra clash. Colm will be assisted by former Cork boss Brian Cuthbert and whatever about the game, the commentary will definitely be talked about!
BTW any niggly issues with our own streaming? I'd hate to miss a bit of it!

And it is capable of being beamed into the homes of Ballydonoghoors all over Ireland You must be delighted.

All you will have to do then at game time tomorrow is log back on and press play. All done, just a wee bit anxious re my security software often playing up and which I had to have installed to keep a few Gombeens off my land. Just had a look at that Cork game, dead simple to access and transmission was 100%, not even a single blink, missed the first half and when I saw the HT score was I glad, maybe that the losers also qualified had something to do with it. Commentator Ballydonoghue's Colm O'Connor with a John O'Dwyer managing victorious Cill na Martra had Kerry to the fore. Colm would be son of Guhard's Bud 'Budwise' O'Connor, a legend only in myth where sports was concerned and such genius certainly didn't skip any generation here. As a garsún myself I recall mornings in our own crossroads shop with Colm putting in an appearance, accompanying his dad to the creamery - even then he had a great story to tell and those eyes peeping in over the counter, popping out of his head, told you he just couldn't wait to get started and start he would with Ger Loughnane presenting an opportunity that had our Colm on the map. Though now age mellowed somewhat there's no mistaken those eyes, wise eyes, and still a great story to tell - ah sure where would be be got? Alive 'n' Transmitting, let's hope Ballydonoghoors are Alive 'n' Winning later on, Budwise was always proud, let's keep it that way!

He definitely wasn’t playing for his divisional team in the Co Championship anyway. As regards county level talent in North Kerry. The only player I can think of that is anywhere close is Barry Mahony and he’s a fair bit away from it really at this point in time, he’s been hampered massively by injuries though. The only other player that you could consider isn’t even playing in Kerry, Jack McGuire of St Judes in Dublin but formerly Listowel. A lot of good things have been said about him, although I don’t know too much about him. He seems to be a very physical and tight full/corner back. He could be a possibility.

Is it me or was that up there with the best NK games, and broadcast exemplary, life in auld commentating dogs yet and will be back to MOM mode once this cursed virus passes, Kennedy amazin.
Credit to players, harsh conditions but played it out.
Plenty of magic moments on both sides and for a change nobody fooled the ref, maybe they twigged this and which contributed to a fiver well spent, unfair also on Emmets to be knocked out so quick, moreover as luck played a role though in fairness a neutral would have to say that Ballyd had the edge. Hard to pick out stars from remote viewing and what struck me was that the play was spread wide with all 30+ having equalish possession and which isn't always the case.
What's the story with Brian O Sheanachain - was he mentioned when he came on for the 2nd half?
The other teams must be very good if we didn't see a NK final here, albeit without the build up!
NK footfall is Alive 'n' Kicking', Ballydonoghoors Alive 'n' Winning!

Great to see so many on the wall showing no fear. Of course it could be a different matter if they fell onto the grassy knoll as a mysterious thing may be awaiting them. Hopefully veteran and southward got a seat.
Regarding the game, surely that was a penalty for Listowel. They were the better team for long periods but fell off in the last 10 minutes or so when it counted. The two Kennellys the difference.

Ballydonoghue deserved the win On the night they were the better team. Seanchain came on half time. Jack Kennelly is a serious player, the points he kicked in second half were magical. The veteran Paul Kennelly did well also. Two Foleys did not do much for me and Ballydonoghue will need them firing if they are to win junior championship Agreed that was 100% penalty for Listowel, Seamus was a away from the play, but he has being known for giving penalties from the half way line before
