The fact that Rathmore are with East Kerry, it's hard to see them being beat.
Presume all will be neutral venue.
I'll go with
Mid Kerry East Kerry Dingle South Kerry (hardest one to call) Kenmare Kerins O'Rahilly Dr Crokes St Brendan's

Will probably be more difficult for the Divisional Teams to get together this year.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a last kick in this Crokes team.

Its my understanding that the St Marys players have opted out of playing with South Kerry this year. They're still sore over last years sk final being played in Ballinskelligs. Hard to see SK going anywhere if thats the case, also Brendan and Paul Sullivan will be big losses from last year

Says he with his fingers crossed Even before the whole covid thing the county board were looking into broadcasting games on a pay per view platform. I see Tipperary are to do this for their championships and Mayo have had it in place for a while now. Hopefully they will as spectator numbers will obviously be severly restricted.

Ah ye see what's coming, if people get into the habit of seeing it on TV then another nail in the coffin of rural isolation. Gone to the other extreme from preventing emigrants from seeing games. My late father was always amazed by how the country stayed afloat with all the wrong doing. Of course the hand is forced here but the price will be paid for previous miscalls. How anyone ever denied emigrants the right to see a NK final live is beyond me.

The west Donegal branch of Ballydonoghue supporters club should take a case to the European court of human rights.
Or maybe plead with the Government to put in a road between Donegal and North Kerry.
Maybe call in something imaginative like the wild Atlantic Way.

Would be nice if this thread could be kept to discussion on club football.
Keep the other crap to the other thread so we don't have to wade through it here.

Very true, Ballythefireside has being infesting every thread for years with his drivel, totally unabated. At the slightest encouragement, (thank God that is rare) he is off to the races. His postings are reminiscent to that of a man with a good feed of drink, top shelf at that.

Sorry if I didn't cheer everyone up!
With respect though, I have to wade through lesser analysis of some of our critics, I can mix it though.
So let's have GAA talk then - any talk of new talent moving up the pipeline - Clifford's brother was mentioned, played well in that boxing final ye had down south? A few other 'southerners' were mentioned late last year but names escape me.
I wonder if TCB will now do that study of NK and why we struggle to deliver for the county, still take Tralee and the hurling out of it and the story isn't so bad, I among others had the illusion that NK was 1/4 of the county - 1/7th maybe? I had a look once and population and area were roughly the same fraction of the total. I suppose out best era was Ogie and Bomber, and Kennelly and Deenihan. Only Kenny's sons played in NK with the two Beale/Ballybunion boyos emigrating to Tralee and which may be the story of the county - do many the 'southerners' 'emigrate' to Killarney and Tralee, what % v say Dublin, UK, US? Rural depopulation will ruin the GAA though the virus will reverse that somewhat - 'tis an ill wind, every cloud, etc!
Now I hope I have been as interesting, as usual! Ah maybe us poor auld NK folk the poor relations!
God bless ye of little faith!

Round 3 of the club championships (all grades) takes place next weekend. What is the fixture situation thereafter - league games are still listed for the weekend of August 15/16 but presume this is the original schedule and not going ahead.
County championship draw made with some very tasty games in round 1 - what is the sitaution on venues and dates? Is first names team of significance (home venue?) or does the straight knock out mean all games will be at neutral venues?

First round of football championship on weekend of August 22. I haven't seen any venues or exact dates published. Hopefully we will be at an allowed attendance of 500 people then.

Certainly something to look forward to. There may be a one or two one sided games in the first round but after that there should be close contests.
The fact that they are knock out makes it for me.

It looks like Crokes will be missing Gavin White and David Shaw tonight. I was tipping Stacks anyway but now with the loss of these 2 key players on top of Daithi Casey I would be fairly surprised if Stacks don't win.

I was surprised when I saw who was reffing the high profile Stacks Crokes game.
I'd say he will be embarrassed watching that back.
I wonder do any umpires understand the square ball rule also?
