Does a suspension for David Clifford rule him out of this game or does it only apply to the senior championship?

Going by the rules (clubman) Clifford is out of next match for straight red. But as he did strikeout at sure a dangerous area of the body this requires a deeper investigation and penalty if guilty of more serious assault.

If so, could you describe precisely what happened , the preamble etc. Any chance those of you who saw the match could supply a match summary to people like me who were unable to see it for one reason or anther.

I would love to see David spending an afternoon in the company of Mikey Sheehy discussing the topic of how Mikey put up with intimidation back in his day.
I suspect Mikey would say that he just waited for the next ball and humiliated his 'marker'.
I saw a clip recently of the junior game between Ballyduff and Fossa.
David does a bit of mouthing and gets a slap in the puss and down he goes. Fossa were miles ahead. Why bother ....next ball David.

Ridiculous that the guy who gets “a slap in the puss” is the issue in your eyes. An awful lot of mouthing goes on in every sport, punching someone in the face is not some comeuppance that Clifford deserves for mouthing.

Where did i say that the other guy shouldnt have been sent off?
Where did i say he deserved to get the slap?
If you are miles ahead surely the cute thing is to not engage in verbals and ignore the baiting of someone who wants to try to make a hero of himself.

"at one stage gave fossa a free instead of hop ball as Skellig rangers didn’t kick the ball 13 yards from a free. He should know the rules by now"
He knows the rules better than you Kerrygreenandgold cos that's the correct decision. 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈

Watched Fossa game , Skellig Rangers Stephen o Sullivan and Ronan o shea kept the Cliffords to 2 points from play between them if someone had said that at start of game I’d have said Skellig rangers would win. Fossa have other good players in the two o sheas and there back ruairi Doyle . Billy O Shea again favoured the county players and at one stage gave fossa a free instead of hop ball as Skellig rangers didn’t kick the ball 13 yards from a free. He should know the rules by now . A very over rated ref in my opinion . Fossa will be a hard team to stop . Cliffords won’t play that bad again . I cant see how he favoured the county players from what I seen both Clifford's were brought down going through on goal and Billy gave the 14y free but no black cards which is the reason it came in also gave alot of frees against both players

I watched the Fossa and Skellig Rangers game, a tough championship match, as the old saying goes, goals win games.
Emmett o shea's first goal was a brilliant finish, his second was more fortuitous as his shot was half blocked and the ball then hit a divot deceiving the skellig goalkeeper
Skellig rangers had two goal chances, but neither was taken, the first was brilliantly blocked on the line and the second was driven wide,Had the first chance gone in, it would have changed the game as the gap was only 4 at the time.
The Clifford brothers were well shackled by the skellig defence but the o shea brothers were afforded more room, Tadhg got on an amount of ball and Emmett taking the scores.
Matt rennie, Ruairí Doyle and the o'shea brothers were to the fore for fossa, Ciarán Keating, ronan o shea, Aidan o sullivan and Bernard Walsh were skelligs best, the former pair both went off injured which really hurt their chances.
Billy O'Shea reffed the game, although he may be a bit picky, he was consistent in the calls he made.

Listowel beat Firies by 6 yesterday. The better team by all accounts. St Michael's Foilmore beat Ballyduff. When will that relegation final be played?

Please excuse my ignorance but what is the difference between the junior premier club championship and the regular junior club championship. Also the winner of which competition goes to intermediate???

Please excuse my ignorance but what is the difference between the junior premier club championship and the regular junior club championship. Also the winner of which competition goes to intermediate??? the junior is the old novice and the premier is old junior. It goes senior, intermediate, junior premier, junior , and I'm not sure if the is a novice (old novice B) now for losers of 1st rd of junior. Not sure of the reasons why but the cork c'ship are even more convoluted with intermediate a and b and so on I think.

Cork would be complicated by the sheer number of clubs in the first instance.

Two great semi finals in store. The north kerry derby could go either way. Gneeveguilla to just about shade todays game but they will have a job on their hands with Clifford
