Munster final is next Wednesday in Pairc Uí Rinn, any idea of who is on the kerry panel? I hear Cork have a lot of work done, 2-3 players from last years panel have progressed to the senior ranks and that has made a lot of other players buy in to the junior grade in Cork again this year.

Congrats to all concerned. Phenomenal achievement really - missing 7 players through injury and all of last year's team against a county with 3 times as many junior/intermediate clubs, played in Cork and still won comfortably.

Did anyone go the game? If so who impressed? Also how is Podge O'Connor eligible if he plays with Killarney Legion and they're a Senior club?

Can't have played senior championship at club level the year before.
Can't have played senior intercounty in the current year or the year before.
(AFAIK)

Can't have played senior championship at club level the year before. Can't have played senior intercounty in the current year or the year before. (AFAIK) Kerry, Cork, Mayo, Galway and Meath are the only counties with the rule relating to club level.

Say 35 people - 10k would be €285 a head Competition should be re-formatted to being an U23 competition for non senior intercounty players - gap from U20 to senior is a serious mistake by the GAA

They only stayed one night. Your idea on the u23 competition sounds good. I'd say every county would buy into which is a major problem for the junior competition. Also the junior competition is unfair on players with Senior clubs, in Kerry they get to play county championship anyway with the divisional sides.

In all other counties players from senior clubs can play (as long as they aren't ineligble due to playing with the seniors)

Brandon Barrett played for Causeway in the SHC 11 hours later and was MOTM.
